I love the style and looks of this fleece jacket for pups. I have a chiweenie and he got to a size where the medium was too tight but the large was way too long for his back. I love this outfit but wish that they would make it that so it could fit a chiweenie.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this little coat. We live in Alaska and the winters get cold. It’s the perfect texture and quality. The built in harness seems to really be durable and is so convenient. I bought one for my dog and loved it so much I bought one for my parent’s dog too. I think I’ll need to get my dog another color because we love them so much!!

Very Cute & Good Fit
Easy 5 stars for this jacket. Good quality and fit. My Schnoodle weighs 17lb, chest is 20” and back length 15”. The Large size fits even better after it was washed. It’s a soft fleece, a blue variegated color and a bright orange zipper. The zipper has a flap underneath it to allow it to be zipped without catching hair/fur. The neck is a bit wide but allows for a harness. The back includes two heavy plastic hooks, with reinforced stitching/support, to attach a leash (not sure durability for a larger dog). He wears the jacket alone when it’s above 40F, and under a heavier coat when it’s below 35F.

Good Jacket, Bad Harness
First, this is a great jacket. It’s great quality fleece, the zipper is great- it tucks into a little fold that keeps dogs from pulling it down, it’s got great coverage over the belly. Both dogs I tried it on seemed to enjoy it- there wasn’t any learning curve for them, they liked how it felt and how warm it made them. But there were two problems with it.The biggest problem is the harness function. There are two plastic rings to attach a leash to in order to walk the dog. I got this vest because of that as well as the fact that my dog hates having things go over her head, so the zipper was needed. Unfortunately, the harness slips off crazy easily. Basically, any time the dog is turned towards you and pulls back even a little, the jacket comes flying off. If you are using this as a harness, this means the dog is now free to run. When this first started happening, I thought it was due to fit issues (see below). However, we recently got a foster dog who the jacket fits well. Today, the jacket flew off of the foster dog. I was walking three dogs, my dog and the foster being hooked together with a leash connector. The foster stopped in the middle of a busy intersection to sniff something. I asked her to keep moving, she didn’t, and my dog pulled the connector forward. The jacket flew off, faster than I could do anything about it. I managed to grab the foster before she realized she was free and carried her the rest of the way home, but she could have easily been lost, running through traffic in a busy intersection. Since this is clearly not a fit issue, nor does the dog need to be trying to escape, I would highly recommend this never be used as a harness. You can use a harness or collar over this vest, but it is not safe to use as the only means of securing a dog.Second, this will not fit all dogs, even if they are in the correct weight range. I have a 10 lbs small dog who looks like a min-pin or italian greyhound body- slim and tall. Her front feet would get caught in the jacket, leading her to face-plant on walks or get stuck and cry until someone came and helped her. It looks like there was too much room in the chest for her. I was debating taking it apart and trying to stitch it together with less fabric in the chest when we got the foster dog- a chi-dachshund mix. Although the foster was only one pound heavier, it fit the foster like a glove. The foster dog has a wider chest, and I think that makes the difference. I didn’t take any stars off for this, because clearly they can’t make something that fits every dog. But I do want those who have slimmer dogs to be aware that this may not work for them.I still let the foster use the Gooby fleece jacket under a harness because she is cold even indoors. For my other dog, I use a Highline fleece jacket over a harness. The jacket its self is great, but should not be used as a harness due to safety concerns.

Excellent quality and design
This is the 2nd Gooby zip up fleece vest I’ve bought for my dog (the 1st was the teal)and I have my sights set on the grey wash next! This is such a cute, soft, well made little sweater and a great value for the price. The zipper is really sturdy and doesn’t get stuck or caught. My dog loves it and looks adorable.

Die Lieferung kam sehr schnell. Die Hundeweste passt genau. Hab mich an die Maßtabelle gehalten. Praktisches einsteigen. Reißverschluss am Rücken. Unser Hund läuft super damit und kann sich bestens damit bewegen. Der Hunderücken bleibt schön warm. Die Farbe ist mit grau angegeben. Sieht allerdings wie blau aus. Wir behalten die Weste trotzdem.
