Adorable Puppy Playset For Babies and Toddlers
My little man loves his puppy play set! As soon as I saw this, I knew it would be a hit with him. We already have four other toy sets from Hahaland, each toy set has been so cute, and this one is no exception. The puppy house set is adorable and comes with soft plush accessories that are perfect for a wide range of developmental stages. My son is 10 months old and is in that classic exploratory stage—everything goes straight to the mouth! While he’s not quite sorting shapes yet, he loves grabbing the different accessories, especially the little ball, which he enjoys smacking around and crawling after. He also likes chewing on the pizza slice, which is just the right size for tiny hands and teething gums. There’s a variety of sensory elements within this set: the puppy makes jingle sounds, the bottle jingles, the yogurt is just soft and squishy, the pizza squeaks, the ball jingles as well as it has a bell inside, the bone is soft and stuffed, and the comb is just a soft fabric toy. Four of the included toys make sounds while three do not. You can sort the toys, the house has different shapes around its sides that match the shapes of the included toys. My little man isn’t doing that yet, but that element will become usable when he’s older. One of my favorite things about this set is how versatile it is for different ages. While my baby enjoys exploring textures and playing with the pieces individually, my 2.5-year old loves pretending to take care of the puppy. She “feeds” it, puts it in and out of the house, and pretends it’s a pet. It’s been such a cute toy for both of them to enjoy in their own ways. The only con I’ve noticed is that the puppy house itself is made of fabric and arrived a bit flopped over with some wrinkles and indentations. It doesn’t stand up completely straight due to this. I might try tossing it in the dryer for a few minutes to see if that helps it regain its shape, but even with that minor issue, it hasn’t affected the fun.Overall, this is another big win from Hahaland. My son’s all-time favorite is still their My First Fruit & Vegetable Color Sorting Play Food Set, but this puppy house is quickly climbing the ranks. It’s engaging, safe, and perfect for fostering both sensory exploration and pretend play.

Soft puppy house with odd plush accessories
My 12mo old enjoys playing with this puppy house and the plush items that come in it. He especially likes the tennis ball, which has a bell inside it. The comb and the baby bottle are also his go-to objects in this set. The sizes of the plush objects are perfect for his little hands. The soft puppy house also comes with a pizza, puppy, dog bone, and strangely, a yogurt. They are all soft and some make crinkle/bell noises. I do wonder why it comes with a plush pizza, but not as much as I am perplexed by the plush container of yogurt. Regardless, my son isn’t at the age of asking questions, so he doesn’t care. The house itself is soft, has an attached circular mirror, shape holes on the side, and a Velcro door.

    Cute toy for multiple ages
Got this for my grandson to play with at my house. It’s soft and appropriate for several ages. Younger ones can play with the soft toys/rattles and older kids can still use it for pretend play. Some items are just soft toys and others have sounds like a bell, crinkle, squeak, etc. While the yogurt and pizza are a little perplexing for a dog and dog house, they are still fun items young kids gravitate too. The dog house is a good size for little ones and has a handle to carry it around place to place. The holes on the side are great for access but a toddler walking around can shake smaller items out behind them so it would not be ideal for carrying through a store. Personally it’s a little pricey for what you get but sometimes it is worth it for entertaining a kiddo.

Cute baby toys perfect for my 7 month old
This toy set is perfect for my 7 month old who’s getting great at grabbing things. I love that it has items of various shapes, sizes and sounds. Everything is soft to touch so I don’t have to worry about baby hitting herself. The puppy house can hold all the toys inside and has holes for shape sorting. It has a handle so I can easily bring with me on the go. I tossed everything into the washer and dryer and they came out fine. Very cute design. Would make a nice gift!

    Cute, well-made, & over-priced
[7/14/25 review of Hahaland Baby Toys 6-12 Months – Montessori Plush Puppy Sensory Toy Set when listed at $26.99] We have been stocking up on toys for our new grandbaby to play with at our house, & in the process, this puppy set caught our eye. More specifically, the plush comb caught Papa’s eye, & he couldn’t wait to give the puppy a good combing! Lol The set is pretty straightforward & as pictured. We liked that the designers packed in as many interactive, sensory, & learning components as they did. There are rattles, crackles, & squeaks. The shapes all fit in somewhere to help the little one learn shapes, & the fact that the house doubles as storage is great. The construction & finishing work is good. Currently, comparables on Amazon are in the $20-25 range, so acquiring this at a price point of $26.99 was a bit steep – hence the deduction of one star.

    Super cute
This is a really cute set for the little ones. The material is very soft and comfortable on the skin. The items are just the right size for little hands to grab and hold onto. Older children can put the items into the house by shapes that align with the cutouts in the house. The items that come with the puppy and the house are food, grooming, and play items, so the kiddos can have lots of imaginary fun with this set. Can be used by one or multiple kids. Great set that comes in a nice sturdy box for gift giving if desired.

This hahaland Plush Puppy toy is adorable and a nice first puppy toy for babies. The set has a puppy in a fabric shape sorter house along with some food and accessories which work as the shapes. The shapes fit in well but they could go in any hole really. I like the idea behind it though. The house is cute but it comes a little squashed. I’m hoping the shape will improve over time but it’s a shame it’s not a little sturdier considering it’s meant to be a shape sorter. The mirror on one side adds a nice sensory aspect but it is distorted which is disappointing. I’m sure baby would rather see their real face than a distorted one.I like that each of the toys has a sensory aspect with crinkly paper inside the dogs ears and squeakers and bells inside the accessories. This is a really cute toy and whilst it’s expensive I think it’s worth the price as the quality is excellent. A very nice toy for babies and toddlers.

This plush dog and dog home set is effectively a small set of puppy themed plushy’s that are all incredibly soft and easy for little ones to play with. The house is a little bit of a disappointment in the sense it comes out of the box a bit folded and never really stretches out properly, effectively looking like it’s been deflated which is a bit of shame. It would be neat if things were slightly on the bigger size side with a bit more structural foundations to make it more practical to display and make it more built for the longer term but as it is it’s still a very sweet little set.

When this plush puppy house showed up, I figured it’d get a quick sniff and be ignored, but nope—she was hooked right away. The textures are awesome: crinkly ears, a little jingling bottle, and a squeaky pizza slice that kept her entertained way longer than any usual teether. That tiny mirror on the front is a gem too—she spent ages poking it, then totally freaked out when she saw herself, and yeah, tried to taste it right after (heads up: wipe it down often because drool happens). The shape sorter is still a work in progress for her, so I’m looking forward to when she finally figures out how to fit the pieces in—that’ll be a proud moment. When playtime’s over, everything fits right back inside the soft house, and the handle makes cleanup super easy to toss in the diaper bag. Heads up: it arrives a bit squished, but that sorts itself out quickly. It’s pricier than basic rattles, but you get a lot of fun textures and sounds all in one. This has quickly become the go-to toy around here—soft, safe, and actually keeps her attention. If you want something that’s more than just another squeaky toy, this puppy house is worth it.
