Not indestructible, but our dog enjoyed it while it lasted
Okay, so this chew toy was a bit of a mixed bag. My golden retriever is a champion chewer – he can destroy most toys within a day. I was hoping this one would be different, especially since it’s marketed for aggressive chewers. While the rubber feels really tough and durable at first, it wasn’t as indestructible as I’d hoped. It lasted longer than some, maybe a week or so, but he eventually managed to tear it apart.On the plus side, he really seemed to enjoy it while it lasted. It’s a good size for him, easy to grip, and the textured surface kept him interested. The squeaker inside was a big hit too. I did remove the ribbons from it before giving it to him though. I did not want him tearing up those and eating the threads.Overall, it’s a decent chew toy, and it did keep our dog entertained for a little while. But if your dog is a truly aggressive chewer like mine, don’t expect miracles. It might not last as long as you’d like.

Withstood my aggressive chewer
I have a 1 yr old Boston who chews through everything in a day. He ripped the ribbon off the rocket immediately but the rocket itself has lasted a couple weeks already. It’s pretty durable. Also has a good bounce to it so he chases it around. So far so good.

Dogs don’t really care much for this
Compared to all of their other toys, neither of my dogs really care a whole lot for this. It’s a little bouncy, and a little chewy, but I guess it just doesn’t check their boxes. They avoid going for this one. I would say that it’s not the best value under these circumstances.

This is just the right size for our mini and large dogs. Large enough so the big dog cant eat it, and small enough for the little one to still carry it around. It does have streamers on it (which lasted about 3 minutes), but once the streams were off, they have been playing with it non stop for 2 weeks so far. It has good mouth feel and easy for humans to grip and play tug / fetch with, without getting to close to those big dog teeth.RECOMMENDATIONHighly recommend, especially for aggressive chewers.

Soft but durable for aggressive chewers – One of our new favorites!
It’s not always easy choosing a new dog toy that will withstand the abuse that our dogs put it through, but so far this one is a winner! This thick, rubber, torpedo-like chew toy has held up for almost two weeks with the rubber still intact and with little to no evidence that both our dogs have been chewing on it! The fancy flat ribbon on the end is another story. That lasted all of about 10 minutes before one of them ripped it from the bottom, but I sort of expected that part of the toy wouldn’t hold up to my aggressive chewers. I like that this toy can handle aggressive chewing without causing any gum bleeding like some harder chew toys tend to do. This one is gentle on their gums and teeth. The slot on the side with nubbies helps to clean their teeth. The ends on the bottom, where the ribbon used to be, have become a great place to wedge small cookies. There is a squeaker somewhere in there, and somehow our boys haven’t figured out how to remove it, which surprises me because that is usually the first thing to go.Overall, I’m very pleased with this chew toy, but more importantly, my dogs love it!

Durable for aggressive chewers is accurate!
We’ve had this item for a month (maybe a bit more) and it’s showing very little in terms of damage to chewing.Let me be clear, this item is for a teething puppy (german shepherd) and on the big side 7 months old and already 60 lbs. She destroys every chew toy we throw at her – stuffed toys are a nightmare around the house. She loves this toy – and chews on it every day. So far the ONLY part that’s showing any wear and tear is the smaller end of the toy. Just a few pieces have come off.I honestly didn’t know it had a squeaker in it. She showed us that it does. LOL I can’t attest to aggressive adult chewers – but going off what i’ve seen so far, I’m sure it will handle well with them as well.Few things to note:1. It’s a bit heavy – for chew toys that is2. Ours came with streamers on the end of it (I guess to make it look more like the hydrogen bomb of yore) 5 minutes it was gone.3. It’s big – smaller breeds will have trouble with thisWhen the pup gets to adult – maybe I’ll update this to see how well it’s held up. But for now, I can honestly say it is the only toy that’s held up to her chewing and has outlasted all but one.
