Fun, inexpensive, strong suction! 😺
As you can see in the video, my cat loves it. I’m amazed at how strong the suction is. It hasn’t come off of the refrigerator once in all the times that he has bitten the koi fish and tried to walk away with it! LolI’m not sure how long he will stay interested in it, but for about $6, I think it’s worth trying for however long. Right now he’s a happy 2 yr old kitty! 😻We recommend it! ☺️

Name needs to change to wand, instead of dangler.
My cats still like it, but the suction cup does not stick, it’s weak. My girl cat will bring the fish to us when she wants us to play with her and she drags the wand behind her.

Cats love it, but definitely not durable.
tl;dr: Suction cups are useless (this is realistically a hand toy with a useless suction cup added on for apperances) and the fish gets torn off of the line+rod easily, but for how cheap these are, they’re a great value, and my cats both love them. The Bad:Firstly, the suction cup is absolutely useless. I’ve had three of these (none returns; I’ll get to durability in a minute) and not a single one has ever had a useful suction cup. They’re blatantly cheaply made and I honestly don’t know why they’re even on there; they’re so useless. Expect this to be a handheld toy, and abandon any notion of sticking it to a wall or anything like that. (I’ve tried multiple surfaces, nothing has been stuck to by this cheap suction cup.)I mentioned having three of these — yeah, they’re not durable. Two of them have had the little fish come off of the string (but both times by my more energetic boy who tends to be harder on his toys), while the third and newest is still technically surviving. The Good:Fortunately, even after being separated from the fishing rod, the fish still prove excellent toys on their own. My cats both ADORE the little fish, and while the bell seems to have no effect whatsoever, the catnip they use in these is very effective, and whatever material that the fins are made of is crinkly and one of my two cats absolutely goes nuts over it (the other is more ambivalent, but still enjoys the fish without paying particular attention to the crinkly material). Also, generally, given that I got both for <$5, absolutely worth the cost. I don't expect durability from what's essentially a "line the grocery aisle in cheap tat" throwaway item, and that's basically what these are. They work to get the cat's attention and joy, and that's what matters. The Aside:One very minor complaint I have is that despite having ordered three of these, I've gotten the same variant every time. I was really hoping ONE of them would be the cute white-and-red koi, but every single time it's been the orange one with the blue fishing rod. Not the end of the world, but I wish there was a *little* more variety, or that you could select which one you wanted.

good, cheap, cat crack
this toy was like crack for my boy kitty. for anyone having trouble with the suction cup, just run it under water. stuck to our window for 2 months. like any other string toy, be wary. my cats aren’t constant chewers so luckily no vet visits. you may also have to physically reapply catnip after a few weeks if you also have a cat who loves catnip.great, cheap toy. i’d recommended buying multiples if you have cats who go through toys quickly.

Fun toy but be careful with small parts!!!
The silvervine in this toy is a nice touch and my cats go crazy for it, but be careful!! There’s a jingle bell on the end of the fish that’s able to be ripped or chewed off easily. I’m lucky I happened to be watching my cat when he got it off and in his mouth, but it happened so fast it would’ve been so easy to miss. Maybe cut this off for safety reasons if you decide to get one for yourself

Kitty Love
My cats love this thing. One was brought over as a gift from a neighbor and my cats went crazy for it.So after 8ish months when that one succumbed to over loving I bought another and then…. another.I don’t know what it is about this particular toy/scratcher but my fuzzy girls can’t get enough of it.I have it laying right on the floor and I even find then napping on it. They have held up to serious abuse, lets face it, nothing cat related is going to last forever. So getting 8 months, sometimes more, out of anything for them is a win. Its a real hoot to watch them with it, and its heartwarming to find them fast asleep on it.So this isn’t my first Gator and will certainly not be the last!

Low Quality & Dangerous
At first, I thought this was a cute and okay quality. Turns out this koi fish cat toy is very low quality. The sucker base does not adhere to the surfaces well. The elastic is thin and breakable. If you have a cat that likes to chew on things, beware. My cat chewed through the elastic string and ate a lot of it. Save yourself a trip to the vet and the life of your cat. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

Very nice
Jules had lost interest in all the wands I had. This really perked him up. He doesn’t care for catnip, so maybe it’s the silverbark (did I get that right?).

I love this toy for my kitten and she loves it too.I had another older version of it already from when my old cat had been younger, but didn’t want to be bringing it back and forth to my trailer so went hunting for another. I was so happy when I found this. The only difference is the type of fish at the end; my original is a gold fish. She can play with this for a very long time and not get bored. The bell attached did finally break off after a couple of months of hard play, but I can always fix that.My only complaint is that the suction cup doesn’t hold very well to glass surfaces. It needs to be stronger to hold up to cats pulling on it, but other than that it is fun watching my little girl attack it. I just hold onto it instead; which is better anyway as I can move it all over the house and she loves it when I plop it in the holes of her Hartz Peek & Play. She jumps in and attacks it!

My cat loves this toy but only the orange and blue koi fish. Unfortunately, I got the red and white, so had to return it. Still if your cat’s not picky about the colour, it’s a must buy toy.
