As a pet parent, it’s common to be floored by fur. Hundreds of wispy strands cling to anything they can grab hold of, and hairy tumbleweeds dance throughout your home, taking up residence in every nook and cranny. These are the indications that hours of endless vacuuming and sweeping have begun. If you feel like your pet is losing their fur faster than you can keep up with, it’s time to break the cycle and stop dreading shedding. The Hartz Groomer’s Best Fur Fetcher de-shedder tool for cats boast a patented revolutionary design that removes 3 times more fur than brushing alone! The perfect solution for seasonal changes and the most extreme year round shedders, it works by removing loose fur from the undercoat without harming the delicate skin and top coat. Fur Fetcher ditches harsh metal blades and utilizes micro combs to make regular grooming enjoyable for your furry friend. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to use so you can spend more time pampering your pal and less time picking up after them

Shockingly effective
In an attempt to spend less time cleaning the floors, I am always on the lookout for a better cat brush. We have one of pretty much every style and I was hesitant to purchase this one. The price was fairly high for a cat brush and I didn’t think it would be much different than the dozen brushes we already have in terms of hair removal. I was SO wrong! I have NEVER seen so much fur come off with just a small amount of brushing. Using this brush, the dead undercoat fur basically pours off and leaves behind a smooth and soft coat. As a plus, it seems to be less irritating/stimulating because our one cat who normally doesn’t tolerate brushing well is absolutely thrilled to be brushed with this one.The price initially gave me pause but I have never come across a pet brush that was so well worth it. You will be shocked at home much fur comes off using this with no signs of any damage to their coat.

Works great!
Great brush and does exactly what it says it will! Gets that under fur that doesn’t always shed out easily. Kitties love it (a little too much as it’s also now one of their toys).

Reduces shedding
This comb effectively collects my cat’s loose hair and undercoat. Rating it four stars because I think the comb’s edges may feel sharp on the cat’s skin. It’s fine if you comb with a light hand, not pressing down hard.

WOW! It really works.
This is the BEST and EASIEST dematting tool on the market. It makes quick work of matted fur without cutting or scratching the skin. My cat even purred through the brushing. As a side note, my vet and her techs who did the dematting work initially, were impressed. They plan to get one for their office.

It’s mid…
Overall it’s decent and does comb through my cat’s top coat easily. However I thought the comb’s teeth would be metal but it’s plastic, causing the undercoat to become staticky when combed through. It doesn’t really catch the undercoat as much as I would have liked. And when it does, it just collects at the backend of my cat and I have to manually remove the fur myself. Slightly disappointed, but it’s mid.

My New Go To
Stunningly effective. The first time I used this, I was shocked how much more effective it was. The cat was content to be brushed, and I got more hair off her than any other time Id tried to groom her.

FurFetcher doesn’t fetch fur! Buy the slicker brush!!!
The mfg describes this tool as “Highly effective at removing undercoat”. “Removes 3 times as much fur as brushing alone”. Well, I and my cat beg to differ on both counts. As you can see in my photos, the Hartz slicker brush removed a ton of fur from Olive, our 9 yr old Siamese. Olive loves being brushed and was very patient while Daddy tested both brushes on her.He used the Hart’s de-shedding tool first and it removed almost nothing of her dense undercoat. Then he brushed her with the new Hartz slicker brush. Amazing the amount of fur that the de-shedder didn’t get. The slicker removed at least 10x the fur!I then tried it then on our old man cat Sam(17) and he absolutely hated it, growling and biting at me. Not a happy boy. They also state “Satisfaction guaranteed”….. well neither of these kitties nor their parents are satisfied with this purchase at all. And at $20, I felt compelled to review it and send it back. It’s on its way back and the kitties are greatly relieved. They said “good riddance to the Fur Fetcher” and are more than happy to keep the small slicker brush. Guess you win one & lose one. Hopefully they’ll forget this experience and forgive us…. and don’t tell Spencer (17)and Norma Jean(19) our other two kitties what we did to them. The small slicker brush is the way to go!

Works very well for undercoat!!
I have 2 different brushes. I use my regular brush first and then this one and it is SO helpful for the pets who can mat up.

This brush is amazing. My boy cat with short hair loves it and the amount of fur/ under coat I got off was incredible. Haven’t tried it on my long haired girl cat yet. But this is definitely a safer option compared to the steal sharp brushes out there. It’s very effective but gentle. Great product!

Bring for dealt with moulting of dead fur and reducing the tumble weeds in my house. My short haired cat doesn’t like being groomed with the fur fetcher as I think it touches her skin but it doesn’t hurt her and she doesn’t like any brushes so may just be mine being a fuss pot.

one of the best brush for fur babies. Good for clearing under coat. One disappointment is that inside package was opened when I received it.

Works so well, better than furminator by far.Is quite small so suits smaller cats well and they don’t seem to mind using it.Brushed out handfuls of loose fur after I had already used another brush. Would highly recomend.

my cat has a medium-length coat, not fully longhair but not standard housecat length fur, and she hates brushing despite how necessary it is to keep her fur from becoming matted. this brush has been the best one ive found so far – it pulls loose fur like nobody’s business, and helps work out matts (not a matting brush, of course, but certainly helps the process along) and best of all she actually tolerates this brush more than any other thats come near her. easy recommend, makes a frustrating process that much more bearable!
