Well made & accepted by the feral cats
This amazing cat house is basically an insulated cooler with an interior frame for strength and a soft, heated pad. It is well designed and carefully thought out–two doors, magnet closures, weather-proof, strong & stable. There is a port for the heating pad’s electric cable. There are two loops and metal anchors if you need to secure the house. It is easy to put together and the cats love it. The two cats on my porch prefer individual houses and they have adapted to these quickly. A great price for a quality product.

Great, Super Strong Outdoor Cat Bed
We love this bed! It gave a stray feral kitten who showed up last fall a safe place to sleep. We used some treats to get her to explore. Once she realized it was warm, she moved in! It’s waterproof and warm for single digit temperatures.

    Easy assembly
I like how easily it goes together and is very sturdy. I bought the large for my outdoor cats and believe it will give them shelter from the cold. Good value for money. It will need anchored as it is quite light even though it’s sturdy. I do like the 2 exits, just in case they are needed.

    Extremely happy with some trepidation
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this cat house. The only concern I have is that the heated pad doesn’t have a temperature range or a manner to gauge how hot it gets. It may be such a superior product that it doesn’t need that, but I still have a little nervousness about that. Other than that, it’s fantastic. It’s easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy and it seems to be very durable.

    Well…
It was a little difficult to put together, but it took about thirty minutes, so it wasn’t super difficult. It’s a good size for my tortie as she’s quite large (or else I’d have gotten the small). It’s pretty well-made. I struggled with the velcro because it sticks so well and the supports because the material doesn’t stretch, which is good! The heating pad seems to work well; I only had it plugged up for a little while to test it. The pad cover is soft and washable, so I like that. Now, if only my stubborn cat will actually use it! I think getting her to trust it and get inside of it is the most difficult part. 😅So, to summarize, it’s a little tricky to put together, but for good reasons: it seems well-made, and I like it.

    Well worth price!!!
Got this house for our front porch cat, at first she acted mad that we took away her old cat house, but it didn’t take long to change her mind as the temps were dropping fast! She’s been in it all morning long as it’s very cold this afternoon ❤️ only got it week before Christmas, but so far she seems to love the nicely warm bed. I feel better knowing she’s protected from wind & any other creatures who happen upon our front porch. Seems well made, easy to assemble.

Nice, ut could use improvements and a bit too costly.
Constructed well, but could use improvements. The heating pad itself does not seem to get warm enough, I paid over a $100 and had hoped for a warmer shelter. We are in the Mojave Desert where we get high winds, and can get very cold, the shelter stayed in place but I did reinforce the stake by adding a large rock over it.This model is small, I wish I had ordered a larger one but price point is ridiculous. I purchased it at the time for $90+ and now it is $69. I found other models, well made for half the cost.I do like that the emergency exit is not in line with the entrance, it is sturdy. The heating pad electric cord is protected to prevent critters from chewing on it. I worry about the wood rats and mice, so far the cord is in good shape. I like that the cover for the heating pad is washable!I would like to see the cord being longer and shelters made in larger sized to house more than one cat. A nursing mama cat would not have room and I would worry about kittens being suffocated.

That our stray cat will use this house.
This is being used for our stray cat to get it safely thru our Iowa winters. Love that it’s waterproof, easy to clean, the size is great and she loves it. I put a small bowl of food inside to see if she would go inside. She was mad at me, because she really wanted that food and tried every way to get inside the house. She knew the food was inside and finally went halfway inside to eat her food. The next morning, I put the food further inside the house and she went completely inside to eat. I plugged in the house and that night, she slept inside. I love that she’s using it, because we’re not cat people. We have 2 little dogs that aren’t fond of cats, plus my husband has cat allergies. I think she’ll use it this winter. When she thinks it’s too warm inside, she’ll lay on top of the house. If it’s kinda warm outside, I unplug it and plug it back in at night, if it’s going to be colder. I know she loves being in a warm place to sleep. The price isn’t bad, it’s well made and I believe it will last a long time. I do wish it had a temperature control on it, so I could turn it down to just warm to take the chill off. Thanks for offering this, I love it.

    I love it. Cat too.

  11. Cheryl Lynn

The house itself is cute. Feels sturdy. The heating pad doesn’t get warm at all. I had to buy a different one. I have 4 of these in my back yard. There are always cats roaming all year round and I couldn’t stand them being outside cold and hungry. Can for at least 2 adult cats if they snuggle.

  12. Allison Smale

It is -20C here, and the cat house is kept at a comfortable temperature – we put a fuzzy cat mat on the floor of it, so the cat wouldn’t be too close to the (covered) heating element. The only slight problem is that it is almost too well insulated, and condensation from the cat’s breath causes ice to form on the flap. But so far that doesn’t seem to cause any issue or discomfort for the cat.
