    Lifesaver for my outdoor cat.
I have two outdoor cats and pick this unit up to help keep them warm during the winter months. They are our barn cats and do have shelter, but this makes it absolutely nice and toasty during the winter for them. This fits one cat well. (yes I have another set up for the other cat.). It is very easy to assemble and put together. All you have to do is fold it into shape and Velcro the pieces together. No tools required. I actually paired this with a heated water and food dish, which sits right outside this unit.. My cat is set for the winner! She actually spends quite a bit of time in this, even when it’s not real cold outside. It does have a plastic door flap to help keep the heat in even more, however, my cat personally does not like the flap at all. It’s just Velcro on so you choose to use it or not. The inside of the house also has a foil type heat reflective wall. The heating pad itself is just on or off. You cannot select the temperature range or time for it to remain on like some animal heating pads. Good part is, if this one goes out, you can easily replace it with your own, and can choose adjustable controls at that time if you choose. You can also choose to use this unit with the included legs to keep it up off the ground or without the legs. I personally have mine set up within a old rabbit pin that is already up off the ground so I did not use the legs. I like having that versatility to it. I’m not sure personally if I would want to leave this out in the sun or rain, as that would shorten the life of it. Works really great for those covered outdoor areas.

Our neighborhood cat loves this in the winter
We have a neighborhood cat who everyone enjoys taking care of. He is used to being outside during all types of weather, but I wanted to provide him with shelter during the winter months. I ordered this heated cat house. It took no time to assemble. I plugged it in by our garage and the cat uses it daily. The bottom cushion is heated, but not super warm to the touch. It has just the right amount of warmth for a cat who has very thick fur. The door has plastic flaps to keep the wind, rain, or snow out. Unfortunately, the only place I have to plug it in, isn’t protected from the weather. But, this house has held up well. It hasn’t budged even on the windiest Nebraska days. The inside hasn’t gotten wet from rain or snow. I’m able to take my hand and quickly sweep out any dirt or mulch that has been tracked in. The best part is the neighborhood cat is in this house constantly! He loves it! It has allowed him to be near his food and heated water bowl, while providing protection from the elements. I recommend this house if you need a place for small outdoor pets.

Excellent house for our neighborhood cat!
I’m very impressed with this cat house. I have my own indoor cat but there’s a cat that hangs out around the neighborhood and all of the neighbors do their part in taking care of her. With the winter coming and below freezing temperatures, I thought I’d try this cat house out.First of all, it can fold up and easily be stored when not in use. It’s extremely easy to assemble. You put the poles where they go and fasten the velcro strips together. Easy! The mat has a soft fabric cover and the heating pad is inside. It zips open to remove and wash or clean. You put the cord through the cord hole and you’re good to go! I don’t really have a way to continually have it plugged in but on very cold days, I’ll make it work. The heating pad warms up but doesn’t get too warm, which is one thing that I was nervous about. It’s enough to warm up the house without making it too hot. There are no controls for it though. It’s a soft and homey place for the cat to stay when she gets too cold and I love that. I’m really glad that houses like this exist. Overall, it’s sturdy, it’s off the ground, it gets and stays warm, and it’s comfortable. I’m really happy with it and very impressed!

A Cozy Haven for Outdoor Cats
I absolutely love this Heated Cat House for Outside. As someone who looks after multiple feral and stray cats, I have tried my fair share of heated shelters, and this one stands out for a few reasons. First off, the door opening is larger than most I’ve seen, which makes the cats more comfortable when exploring and less hesitant to go inside. The flap at the entrance is also a nice touch and a must for keeping cold air out while allowing easy access.Assembly was straightforward, and I really appreciate that the heating pad is UL certified—safety is a top concern when you’re dealing with anything electric outdoors. The reflective material on the inside helps with insulation, though I still like to pack it with straw so the cats can burrow in when the weather gets truly bitter. That combination of reflective interior and straw creates a cozy haven they seem to love.Overall, this heated cat house feels well-constructed, and my outdoor kitties have taken to it quickly. If you’re looking to provide warmth and security for feral or stray cats (or even just outdoor-loving house cats), this one seems like a good choice. It’s a great investment for anyone wanting to keep their feline friends comfy and safe in colder climates!

    Cat house
***Update*** it’s freezing today so the cat house was plugged in and the bottom was nice and warm. Sadly my stray cat has not gone inside the house yet. Hoping he will get used to it.Great little cat house. Pros: super easy to put together because it Velcros together, lightweight so easy to carry, has heating, waterproof material and clear flaps to keep the wind/rain out.Cons: too lightweight…it’ll blow away in heavy winds for sure and the legs should be a little longer if it’s outside incase there is a lot of snow. I put this cat house underneath a handicap ramp next to my entrance so I know it will not blow away. I don’t have a plug to plug it in, so I can’t speak on how warm it is. I hope my feral kitty uses this house because it’s been in the 20s in the north east and we have a long way till spring arrives. Overall, nice option for ferals vs heavy wooden ones but be careful as it is lightweight and will blow away in heavy winds. Would be nice if it came with anchors to secure it into the ground.
