This works!
Had some 13 degree nights followed by days that did not get above freezing. The cats’ water did not freeze. Removable bowls great for easy cleaning. Quality and convienent.

Food/water heater
Works very well. I ordered a second one. I leave it on the front porch for my cat. Temps have gone to 15 degrees at night and it kept water from freezing. But it does dry out the wet food after awhile.

Nice!
I have outside cats and this keeps the food and water from freezing. The only thing I wished it had would be a controller of how warm each bowl gets. The water is warm and evaporates quicker. I am going to try and have a safe barrier between bowl and holder to not keep water as warm. Have to wait and see if it is perfect for when the snow is really flying and weather is below zero…might be just perfect

This bowl set is really wonderful. Solid plug and cord ready for the weather. Very well made, with excellent materials. I am using this for a feral cat living near my garage. This bowl is easy to use, easy to clean, and does a great job of allowing me to provide food and water in the winter without everything freezing. Excellent buy.

Good and not so good
Product works very well keeping things from freezing!!! But it keeps things too warm when temperatures are above freezing. Product description said the thermostat would keep it in a nice temperature range. Water becomes too warm and starts to stink pretty quickly.

Quit working
After less than a month outside in a sheltered area to provide food and water to homeless cats. The bowls quit working. The food and water were completely frozen. My other electric food bowl which is over five years old that I have right next to it is still working great. I would not recommend purchasing this bowl set.
