A Good Investment for Your Grooming Tool Kit
This is a really nice thinning sheers kit!! Has everything a casual or professional user might want.Comes in a solidly constructed, gray, reusable storage box. Built-in magnets secure the box lid when fully closed. Interior of the box has a faux-suede finish. It includes securing features (strap with a snap-button tie down and a faux-sued covered, metallic, open-sided clip) to help keep items secure inside the box. The entire kit features: thinning sheers, metal comb with two inter-tooth widths, faux-leather sheers holster with snap-button strap to secure the sheers in the holster, silicon rings which are easily placed in the sheers’ finger holes for comfort and grip, pivot joint oil that comes in a brush applicator, a polishing cloth, and a pivot wrench (shaped like a disproportionate star and looks like a decorative bangle) which fits the unique pivot-joint screw head.The sheers themselves are a nice weight…not too heavy and they do not feel light and cheap. They balance well in the hand. The mechanical action is very nice and smooth. The edges and corners are rounded off where you do not want sharp edges. The blade is sharp. The teeth are curved slightly towards the handle end and splay at the bottom of the tooth to splay the hair and provide a more random pattern for better blending. Inside, you’ll find everything you need: the scissors, a comb, scissor oil, cleaning cloth, wrench for tension adjustment, owner’s manual, protective tip covers, and even two soft rubber inserts to resize the finger holes for smaller hands.The scissors themselves feel like a high-end grooming tool—solid, balanced, and comfortable to hold. They have just enough weight to feel substantial, but not so much that they’ll tire your hands during use.Important note: these are thinning shears, not full grooming scissors. I use them on my Shetland Sheepdogs specifically for light work around their rear area. I’d never thin the chest—their flowing chest coat is a breed hallmark and a point of pride. Surprisingly nice!
These seem to be really high quality! They are super sharp with adjustable tension. They feel nice in the hand and are easy to use and effective. Theu come in a nice box with magnetic closure, a cover the shears themselves a nice comb, and lubricant and a “wrench” for the shears. A great value for some really nice shears with a quality accessories…i highly recommend them!

I love these scissors. I have tried clipping my King Charles dog with regular scissors and she looks so choppy. These scissors are perfect to make her haircut blended and look nice. I have zero experience with clipping a dog. I trimmed her and got a lot of hair off, but she still looks natural! These are a must have for any dog owner. They feel like a professional grade scissor and work amazingly!
