Great. It lives up to the name. My dog almost got through the fabric but did not.

Not suitable for super chewers.
Took the pup 1 1/2 hours to completely destroy pillow while in crate. Not fun to find stuffing everywhere when I returned home.

It looked tough enough for our hard chewers dog.
It didn’t last a whole day and the corner was chewed off. It looks the part, but it can’t hold up to chewing. Our dog is about 1.5 yrs old and still chews – about everything, when we aren’t present! She gets scolded and placed in the laundry room as a penitalty box after she chews items that are not her toys. This is a good dog pad, it just doesn’t live up to the toughness it claims.

Definitely not indestructible
Save your money. Received the Homby’s chew proof dog bed on 8/29, within 2 days my dog had chewed through one corner. By day 5 she chewed through the other corner and barfed up (thank god) a large ball of bed thread. Ordered the small 29” x 18” and it was short about an inch all the way around. Waste of $50. Chew proof” not even close. The only positive is that it washes well and air dries pretty quick.

Not even a month and it’s ruined
Chew proof? Absolutely not. Our dog shredded the heavy duty cover in less than two weeks, and now just a shy of a month from purchase, he has already ripped out the stuffing. Don’t waste your money.

My 13# yorkie poo is a terror at ripping stuff up….and while he has only been in his crate one time with this cushion, he has been known to rip brand new cushions up in just a hour or so in his crate but I noticed NOTHING happened to this cushion in the four plus hours he was confined. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Cushioned but somewhat rough fabric
This feels like a quality pillow that would have been great for my large and giant breed puppies when I had them. Unfortunately my little bougie puppies don’t like the cushion so they have not laid on it a single time.
