A bit surprised at how nice this is
I’m a professional groomer. Previously, I had a brav mini to do feet and sanitary areas on dogs, but was very disappointed in how fragile it was and how often I had to replace the blade. I purchased the Joyzze mini clipper out of pure frustration, but I have not regretted it so far. This beautiful thing cuts through hair like butter, and I rarely ever use the high setting. It can take on considerably rougher conditions than the other one. It is comfortable in the hand and easy to maneuver, even on tiny dogs.I dislike the “press and hold to turn on” feature, however. To turn it on or off, you have to press and hold the power button for roughly half a second, and then a single quick press will alternate between low and high speed settings. A half of a second may not seem like much, but when you’ve been grooming for twenty years, turning on clippers while reaching for the body becomes a fluid movement, and I find myself actually waiting for it to turn on and off sometimes. Again, it’s not a lot of time, but it’s frustrating, and I often find myself changing speed setting when I wanted to turn it off. I feel that the action should be the other way around: quick press to turn on and off, long press to adjust speed. And having a speed setting memory would be nice, so it’s always on the last setting I used. For those who decide to try it out and buy it – the charging stand is very finicky with dirty ports. If you put it on the stand and it does not charge, wipe the hair/dirt off the sensors on both the clipper and the stand. I’ve had mine a few weeks, but I’ve only had to charge it one time because the battery life is pretty good.TLDR – good product, I recommend, clean your charging ports.

Great for paws and sensitive areas
A great little trimmer that is both powerful and quiet. Perfect for more nervous dogs or super tiny delicate areas that need just as much power but maybe not so much real estate! This is my first product in the Jouzee lineup but I am excited to get more!

Light and comfortable
Fits nice in my hand and it’s great for paw pads but I keeps cutting my dogs paws. Love the charging station. 30 days later and it stopped charging.

Great for pads and sanitary areas
I have an Andis ACG2 and the blade width + cord present a logistical challenge when grooming the feet of our mini schnauzer and mini poodle. Their feet are pretty small and this tool is the perfect size. The battery and power are great. The Hornet Mini is an easy to use, quality tool. With the price of some of these grooming tools, this is an outstanding deal.

Piece of garbage
I’ve used this clippers four times. Just recharged i, can it won’t turn on. 5 months, 4 uses, and a complete waste of $100.00. I would look elsewhere for a quality product; this isn’t that.

Not quiet after first use
I love the size of this and loved the quietness of it at first but the second time I used it it was not quiet at all. Not sure what happened between first and second use, but disappointed.

I’ve dropped it a lot, I think it still works great.
Keeping the clipper in the stand it comes with is a GOOD thing to do. It rolls easy and has fallen many times.

Why did I wait so long?
My poor little 10-pound Shorkie Poo had a bad experience and is now scared of the big clipper. Now I have to scissor him all over. Yikes! He tolerates the scissors well, but it’s very time consuming, and clippers do a better job overall, of course. So my beautiful professional normal-size clippers are lying dormant and I thought that if I could get something quieter, maybe we could do a little clipper work, in addition to the scissors. I remembered that Go Groomer recommended Joyzze clippers so I checked them out. I didn’t realize they had a mini Hornet, and I was intrigued, so I bought one. Wow! Are they quiet! And they do a much better job on paws, sanitary areas, face, and even down his long legs! He tolerates them very well. I might even be able to do more with them, and maybe this experience will get him ready to go back to the big clippers. Joyzze, you have changed our lives! I’m going to ditch the smaller foot pad/face clipper I had. Joyzze will handle those areas so much better.
