It is a cute toy. The ball itself is very durable. She’s played around with it a little bit and it’s gotten thrown around quite a bit and it seems to be doing OK. My son said that it did come apart at one point but he was able to get it back together and it still works.The cover on it is nice for a smaller dog to be able to grab it without having to put the whole ball in its mouth. Even though any medium or large size dog would be able to get the ball in its mouth without a problem. However, the cover is not going to last very long. But I guess that’s true with all dog toys.But for the price, and for a little extra fun, it might be the perfect toy for a lot of dogs. Our dog enjoyed the ball and the cover until we turned it on. But our dog tends to be a little timid and she immediately gets shy and walks away from it when it starts bouncing around. We thought that the cat would like it, but I think it’s a little too big for the cat. He doesn’t mind that it bounces around but neither does he seem interested in chasing it.It really is a cute toy and I think that most people’s medium or large size dog will enjoy having it. If your dog has a tendency to be very playful or even slightly aggressive, this might be the perfect toy.

Not a good product
This toy was fun for about 3 minutes. I’m not sure if my dog broke it open or if the bouncing opened it but I found her licking the grease off of the mechanism inside. I can’t give this back to them and risk them getting to the battery and components inside again. Also the fluffy cover doesn’t cover it completely. Maybe if it had Velcro to stay closed, they could play with it.

Cool dog toy, durable ball, ok cover
I got this for my two german shepherd/ border collie mix dogs (about 40 pounds each). I was hoping the automatic action would keep them engaged without needing my constant attention. Unfortunately they don’t really have any interest in it unless I’m still the one throwing it keeping them engaged the whole time. I feel like maybe dogs with a higher prey drive might be more into it, because when it’s doing it’s bouncy motion it definitely gives the impression of a little animal bouncing around the ground. However my boys still just don’t care unless I’m throwing it to them. The ball itself works well, and the inner blue ball seems reasonably durable for the price point, but a bit hard. The outer soft cover is showing some wear and tear pretty quick, but I didn’t really expect that part to last. The ball has two settings, one where it wiggles around for 5 minutes and shuts off, and one where it wiggles for 5 minutes, then will react again if played with. I prefer the second. Overall It seems like a cool toy for a dog, although not the hit I hoped for with my dogs. I think it’s just their play style and this could be a blast for another dog!

My dogs absolutely love this ball. It’s nice and quiet and charges so quickly.This is our third type of interactive ball and this one is well priced and fun for the babies. The only drawback is the cover. My dogs are not chewers but even after one day it is falling apart.

My puppy LOVES this toy
I’m going to start this review by stating that I have a 6 month old GSD puppy who is high energy and very busy with his toys. He will want to play for hours but tends to be incredibly rough on most of his toys. This toy was AMAZING for him. The whole family was entertained watching his first reaction to the vibrating toy and he instantly fell in love with it. So far it is wonderfully held up to him biting it and carrying it around. He throws it around the room for himself and chases it all over. He did love the soft cover it had but I was very glad it was removable as he absolutely went to work on the little nubs after the first day but even without the cover it is his new favorite toy. I’m SO glad it is rechargeable because after a full day of playing the day we opened it, he did manage to kill the battery but we have only recharged it one time and it’s had a long life since. It is a bit noisy on our wood floors but I think he actually enjoys that aspect of it! All and all I think this was a great buy for the money. The size was smaller than I initially thought based on the photos so I did include a photo of myself holding it as well as my 67lb puppy but it is slightly larger than a tennis ball so I do think as long as he is watched it is safe for larger dogs.

Too easy to get the ball open!!
My dog loved this toy at first but it did not even last two minutes. She had the cover off immediately and then opened the ball and started chewing on the insides. I took it from her right away but she got it open so quickly I didn’t even realize that was what was happening until it was too late. This might be fine for small dogs who will only chase it but if they catch it then it does not hold up for more than a few seconds. Great idea in concept, but not safe, even when watching your dog play with it. 🙁

I have a 5 pound Yorkie and he destroyed the ball cover in under 30 minutes. Very disappointing.
