Noisy but/and good
This has good battery life — turns itself off after a bit, then comes back to life later, repeats cycle, and seems to last all day. I charge it up overnight and it’s ready to go again. The cats enjoyed watching and interacting with it.Two little caveats:1) This one has bird chirping noises, so be prepared. If that would bother you after a while, look for another one.2) It’s relatively heavy, so when it runs into doors or furniture, it can make a thump, so there will be noise from that, too. I don’t think it would damage anything that isn’t already fragile. Some cats might prefer a lighter toy.

My cat is afraid of it so for me it was a waste of money. The chirping is very loud and the tail gets wrapped up on the body

A Great Cat Toy
We have several balls similar to this but the addition of a tail is great. She plays with it more than the others because she goes for the tail. You never know what direction it will travel to next. It has 3 settings. You charge it by pressing the button. To me they’re all fast despite what the instructions say. If left alone it turns off to save the charge.I would love to give it 5 stars but there are several things that moved it to a four. The instructions say to press the “on” button for 2 seconds. I may have gotten a defective one, but I have to hold it for up to 2 minutes! The run time is about 35 minutes before it needs a charge.Even with the drawbacks I still think it’s a great cat toy.

He Likes It! It’s Tough, Like Him!
Our tuxedo cat Pico, is very picky when it comes to toys, he is not your typical box obsessed cat. This toy keeps his attention! It is very fast and makes great bird noises. It can zoom across any floors and carpets, and you can tell it’s well made: runs into walls and keeps on going! I had to throw his last toy that was kind of made like this one, but it couldn’t even roll up onto a low profile rug. It is so fast I couldn’t get a good photo of him playing with it!

Cat Fun!
Our cats enjoy this toy and it stirs up their hunting instincts. They watch it more than chase it (and so do we!). When they do catch it they always let go when it start to move again.All the functions work properly. It’s very fast and scampers around like something alive. A charge lasts longer than the cats’ attention span and it recharges quickly enough. It’s tough and has survived many collisions with the wall and furniture. The tail on this version is a tough tube of synthetic fabric that the cats have not been able to damage.I keep it away from our 50 pound dog. She might think it’s a chew toy!5 stars from the cats.
