I had previously tried a toy similar to this that my cat liked, but that was too big and too powerful. I was afraid it would damage any furniture it hit. So when I saw that this one had multiple power levels I was sold.This toy is true to the size listed, just over 2 inches across. Nice and small, perfectly sized for a cat. There are 2 tails included so you can replace it when your cat ends up killing one. And they probably will because this thing will absolutely grab your cat’s attention!The fast speed is quite quick on hardwood floors. It moved faster than my cat! The slow speed is a bit closer to ideal in my opinion, although the fast was more interesting to my cat. I have yet to figure out what the difference is with the “interactive” mode, it seems to be the same as the slow mode. It’s possible that it’s similar to the fast mode’s standby feature and my cat is simply too ADHD to play with it long enough to demonstrate the difference. I appreciate that the fast mode goes into a standby state after 10 minutes. It’ll roll around chirping and doing it’s thing, then sleep until your cat wants to play with it again.The only things I don’t love about it are that there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off the chirping bird sounds it makes, and that it can get a bit noisy bouncing off of things. The first the manufacturer hopefully will add as an option in future models, the second is just the price of having a pet. Well worth it.

Got my cats’ attention
The different modes on this cat toy or a very good idea. When I first turned it on, I used the fastest mode and my cats were not impressed! I recommend starting on the slowest mode and letting them get used to the toy before you go faster.It did get their attention and they were definitely interested in whatever this thing was. LOL It was fun to watch them come up to the toy as it was sitting still and then jump back when it started to move.Once they get used to it, I know it will be a favorite. My husband and I very much appreciate that this toy can entertain the cats with no intervention from us. Before we got the toy, we were dragging strings and ropes around for the cats to chase. That gets old quick!

My cat is OBSESSED with this toy!
My cat lives and breathes this toy since we gave it to him. He loves to chase and bite at it. He loves it so much that, the few times it wasn’t moving or making noise, he swat at it hoping to bring it back to life. When it didn’t come back to life, he walked away but every few minutes would come back and bite or swat at it. When I picked it up to charge it, he followed me. I tried hiding it under the cover so I could charge it, but he was desperate to get under the cover to get to it. I finally gave up and let him play with it with what little charge it had gotten. I think this is THE best cat toy I have ever seen!It slithers along the ground like a fast snake. It’s very fun to watch. It then stops and changes course. I can see why my cat is so in love with this toy. It’s quite fun and cute to just watch.

Great toy for your house predators
We have 6 indoor cats and I’ve been trying to find good enrichment items for them so they get along better. All of the cats loved this one. Our orange cat is a toy fiend, and does hog this one a bit, but it does keep him from picking on his older sister. I love that the battery is rechargeable. I also like that the cats can turn it back on by themselves. I’d say the only downside is that the cats can lose the toy under furniture. The cats love it and we love it. Would definitely recommend.

Great entertainment for cats
I love these interactive balls and so do our cats. We’ve gotten a few of this type ball and this one seems to be one of their favorites. It’s not as loud on hard floors as the ones with raised paw prints and the tail on this one seems to be more enticing than some of the others. Our cats are 11 years old – the girl seems a little intimidated by it, but will chase and follow it all over the house. The boy chases, catches and tackles it. It’s great fun to watch them with it. I don’t know how long it will run on a single charge. The cats will play with it for about 20 minutes before they get lazy and just lay down and watch it, and I turn it off at that point. So far, these are the best automated cat toys we’ve ever tried.

My cats love this
My cats get so excited when I turn this on. They really respond to the chirping & flashing lights. They can even play with this with the lights off. This ball zips around the house, changing direction unpredictably. It does not get stuck in corners or underneath things. It stops briefly, then changes direction, going back in the direction it came from. If it does end up in a corner, it it able to extract itself pretty quickly. The tail on it entices the cats as it zooms around. The battery lasts a long time. My cats tire out before this ball runs out of power.One thing that could use improvement is that it makes a lot of noise. I believe it could use more padding on the ball itself & also on the plastic bracket that attaches to the ball. The plastic really makes a lot of noise when it hits the wall, corners & furniture. It should have foam padding on it to reduce the noise. I also find the price of about $20 to be high. In my opinion, the price should be reduced by 25% to $15.

Depending on the cat, it will take a while
I have two indoor cats and both reacted differently. At first tho, they had no idea what was going on, It was quite comedic. I think since they are spoiled indoor cats living their best life they have lost their hunting instincts. One jumped to inspect while the other stayed up on higher ground. ONe plays with it while the other one just ignores it but runs if the ball starts rolling towards him. Either way, as the hooman, it’s fun to watch them, it does get them moving. The attachments stay in place and are shiny that does spark curiosity.

Motion of the tail and chirping noise a winner for self play for cats.
Have several of these interactive toy balls. This one is a favorite. The soft chirping noise entices them to the ball plus the tail is designed to spin and flicker at the end when in motion. Your cats are going to enjoy the play time with it. Brings out that prey instinct in them that satisfies.
