Great Toy for Busy Cats
This is a LOT of fun for the cats. Can be annoying for the adults after a while, but turn down the volume and let the fun commence. Our toy came charged, so we immediately threw it on the floor and turned it on. Initially, the cats took off, but later came back to play with it. It is fast! It also makes quiet the racket, but the cats love it. Lastly, it is VERY durable. It has gone full speed own the stairs, without causing any harm to itself.

All in all, the cats seem to love this. They spend hours at a time chasing it around. There was some trepidation at first, which is normal with any new toys. That being said, once they warmed up to it, it was off to the races. Battery lasts a while, doesn’t make a whole lot of noise, and serves as a great distraction for pets.The only downside, as with any of these types of things, is that it seems to get lost beneath furniture easily. This means that, if my cats are especially annoying that day, there will be no lack of yowling until I come and fish it out of where ever they managed to get it stuck.

Great for a younger cat or kitten, but the noise is a little annoying..
This cat toy is pretty crazy i must say. I think it is better suited for a younger cat or kitten, but it was a little too much for my older cats. It makes a constant unrelenting squeaking sound while zooming all the over the place in every direction very quickly. If there was a way to silence the noise i think it would be a way better product in my opinion. You can adjust the speed down, so it goes slower, but my cats were not having it at either speed. I think it was a little overwhelming for them. Regardless, i didn’t take away any stars for this fact because it is a very well made and designed product. Plus, it functions very nicely for what it was designed to do. I would recommend for anyone with a kitten or younger cat for sure.

My 4 cats’ favorite toy
EDIT: After a week, the rubber is torn on this. It’s very thin and the cat seems to have ingested bits of it that have torn off. They really liked this, I hate that it fell apart. I even bought a second one, which suffered the same fate. Original review below.Maybe its just me, but I could NOT find the charging port on this. It takes a USB-C cord, which it comes with. The directions didn’t say where it was, and the listing didn’t. Finally, I figured out that you can pry up the power button and it’s under there. When fully charged, it runs for a long time. Out of the box, it has a partial charge, but doesn’t last near as long as it does after a full charge. I do take these up after my four housecats of the apocalypse are worn out because they like to drop their favorite toys in the water bowl and that doesn’t seem like a good idea for electronics.These go much faster than other motorized balls we’ve gotten them. I was afraid that would be a problem, but they all prefer that. The tail is shorter but still long enough that they can carry it around by the tail. They’ve trapped one in the shower stall and like to just watch it run around in the enclosed space. They carry them up and down the stairs – they are not too heavy for the cats to drag around. One cat puts the entire ball in his mouth and walks around with it chirping and thrashing its tail. He looks so proud that he caught it lolThe ball is a softer rubbery material. Soft enough that they can grab it, but not so soft that biting onto it rips it. I like that it will go under furniture but then reverse itself and come back out. Unless it runs out of battery underneath something, it won’t ever get lost there. It goes off in a direction, suddenly reverses and comes back, stops and chirps and wags its tail. The plastic bit that holds the tail is only on one side, so sometimes the ball will just roll onto the opposite side and spin in place. This also helps it change direction, so it’s not a bad thing. I’ve ordered more of these, definitely recommend!

Rolls Easily Over Carpet & Tile!
Could not WAIT to see the cats’ reaction to this animated ball toy! I have a few cats, but was surprised when 4 jumped up to chase the toy all at once! The toy immediately got their attention. The cat ball moves quickly and rolls from one room to the next. Carpet or tile, nothing slows it down! I just recharged the toy for the first time. It charges quickly. And that’s when I discovered the bird chirping sound! Can’t wait to see their reaction to the chirping bird next! This is a fun game-changer for my cats and it’s fun to watch!

Just not that good
Just dont last. Not one single one of these ive gotten, about 30 now, will last past a few days. They either dont stay charged, or the internals come loose from bumping into walls. Also the plastic piece that goes on it that makes it go, just constantly pops off every time it hits something. Very frustrating. Ill keep looking for the right one I guess.
