Keeps my cats busy
so far the best one. I have two kittens and they are just so energetic all the time. This keeps them busy for sure. Durable and easy to use.

Interactive cat mat
The sides don’t stay up so the ball when placed inside can’t move around. I like the size of the mat and the color options available. The ball is active and the battery life is decent it will last a few hours before it needs recharging.

Battery doesn’t last very long
This is a fun cat toy. My cat love playing with it. She loves playing with it more when it is in the pouch than it is out separately. Also, since the toy is wrap around a silicone rubber, it gets tangled up with hair that is on the ground easily and not as easy to remove it as the parts can’t be separated.There are three different modes to choose from, slow mode, fast mode and interactive mode. Also, in the description it is mentioned that if not using, it will auto shut off, but as far as i can tell by 30 minutes the battery would be one, It does not last very long. The chirping sound that is mentioned description is not sound that is installed in the toy, it is simple the sound that the toy makes when rotation, it’s more of the motor sound.

5 star concept; 3 star function
This is definitely a cat toy. The interactive piece which comes with it can be quite entertaining to watch even for a human, lol. It has silicon bands running around it which helps to quiet it down and allow for great maneuverability. The moving part has 3 settings which cause it do different things (one of which moving forward, pausing, moving backwards, etc). Its speed is slow but about right for a cat to chase and pounce. One of our cats was amused by and watched it move without chasing it. 3 of them were afraid of it and ran from it. The ring portion of the set is nice too. The metal rim is a great addition as it keeps it shape and doesn’t get balled up like a lot of them would. It has an opening in which you can place the moving piece. This got the attention of one of our cats and he chased it (inside the ring and under the upper cover) for quite a while. The battery life seems to be good. It is made to shut down after about 5 minutes of no interaction with it. It does have a light that will flash in attempts to get the attention of the cats. If they pounce or cause it to move, it will awaken from hibernating and begin to run. I would call this a novelty product and would not consider purchasing it. It would be a good gift for that cat lover in the office whose name you drew for your secret Santa. The concept definitely gets 5 stars; the functionality and overall use, gets a 3 star rating. The cats didn’t love it and now it sits in the middle of the living room floor begging to be used.

Playful kitty? Must have!
I have two cats – one of which is incredibly playful. I’m always searching for something that they don’t have yet. This was a pleasant surprise! Such a simple idea yet somewhat innovative being I didn’t have it in my collection yet. The ball has decent speed to it, and if you put it in a dark room, the lights themselves will surely direct a cats attention. The overall unit can be used for more than this toy as the ball is inserted through a sleeve. You can add additional toys or balls to liven things up further. The ball is nosy as all of these little electric balls are – it’s not bothersome to me, but it’s present. The he qualm I do have with it is the battery life of the ball isn’t all that long lasting. If I’m using it throughout the day, it’ll require a charge or two and that can be cumbersome to some.

My cats like to chase things under a blanket so I thought they would love this toy. They explored it but were bored. The ball doesn’t move around enough. It tends to just spin on the edge. I tried on hard and softer surfaces. It’s a miss for my cats.
