Worked great.
Occupied our dogs when we had guests over. We were able to pop in another frozen treat within seconds after they finished.

Loved it
Love this toy, dog loves it too. Durable and reusable. Took away one star because getting frozen things out of the silicone tray is very difficult.

Keeps them busy
When this toy arrived, I was surprised by how heavy it was, and by how hard. It’s definitely more of a resin than like a rubber. Hopefully that would make dogs less tempted to chew on it, but if you have one that is a very persistent chewer that might be something to think about. But I froze up some peanut butter and pumpkin and gave it to my boyfriend’s small dog on a day that I needed to entertain him for a little bit. It kept him busy for a little while. The mold to freeze the peanut butter was easy to use and it stayed within the toy well. I also found the opening on the back easy to open and close, I used a pair of scissors, I stuck the blade in there rather than using a quarter or a screwdriver or something like that. That gave me a little bit more torque. Overall, I would recommend this toy but I probably would say that it would be safest for a very small dog. With a larger dog I might be a little concerned that the piece that secures the back would be big enough that they could get it off and try to swallow it, but with a small dog that would have a hard time fitting it in its mouth, I don’t think it would be a safety issue. That’s why I gave it to my boyfriend’s small dog and stuck with the normal toy I have to keep my larger dog busy.

Really hard not safe to chew
I’d like the treat mold but the toy themselves and really hard and I haven’t let my dogs play with them because I’m afraid they’re going to chip a tooth. they haven’t shown any interest anyway so I would say they probably can get them all. Just buy the mold separately and don’t mess with the toy.

Heavy duty and versatile
This treat stuffing chew toy is really tough. I was surprised at how heavy it was. The cups that come with it are made of an easy to clean, flexible silicone in order to make the treats that fit perfectly inside the hole. I had hoped that the sides of this log shaped toy would have deeper holes for additional treat options but they still work for bonus peanut butter storage. The reservoir for the main treat is fairly deep, entertaining my pup for about a half an hour with a solid frozen concoction. The toy itself freezes well so I stuff it along with the three compartments to give me more uses. And I don’t have to worry about it being chewed because it is really tough…like a nylabone. It is easy to stuff and when not in use, looks like a bit of nature brought indoors.

Harder outside than rubber Woofs
Woof balls have been my go-to frozen treat balls. I tried this for something different and to test durability, as I have one that likes to repeatedly bite the rubber of the Woofs, leading to some closing issues down the road. This log is hard plastic (feels like nylabone), so I’m hopeful it will work better for him in the long run. So far it seems to be, with less teeth marks after the first few uses than Woofs. I don’t think it’s as appealing for him to repeatedly bite. The two downsides: 1. the mold is a bit harder to get to release, but I found a hot water rinse to the bottom of it before pushing them out solves that issue. I take all 3 out and put in ziplock bag, so I don’t have to worry about doing that each time. 2. The frozen treats expand a bit more than it seems the holder space is meant to handle, as it’s hard to push all the way in on occasion. It may have been what I filled it with, but one time I had to use the back on a screwdriver (closer than a hammer at the time 😂) to pound it in all the way before screwing the cover on. That being said, the cover is nice so the treat actually stays inside the log (tapered to narrower at the opening).I’m not sure these would be good for a strong chewer over 50lbs (though should be fine if not strong chewer), as they would get their whole mouth around and chomp. For 40ish and under though U feel comfortable recommending!

A toy for larger dogs
A little too large and bulky for my small dog and not entertaining enough to keep his attention. Material seems durable and good quality however. Seems a little pricey but I think that is subjective.

The dogs love it!
I love this dog toy! At first I was a little worried about it being inconvenient to have to unscrew the bottom each time you want to refill the toy, but typically when I fill these and refill the ice cube mold I’m going to be using a spoon or a knife or a fork and I realize you can use the handle of those to loosen and tighten the screw either way without needing a screwdriver or using a coin. The mold that comes with it are the perfect size they’re slightly larger than a regular ice cube from an ice cube tray and they fit perfectly into the hole in the toy. I did make the mistake of overfilling one of the cubes with a milk Bone that stuck up above the surface of the ice cube mold which made it a little more difficult to close the toy so keep an eye on how much you feel the molds and don’t go above the surface of the mold. This is definitely durable, I have four large dogs that will be playing with this and I have no concerns for how long it’s going to last. Especially with the recessed lid that screws in to the bottom I don’t think they’re going to be able to break this in any way. A really cool bonus I found was that the ends of the log are hollow for about an inch which means you can also smear something like peanut butter or coconut oil in there and throw that in the freezer too!
