    Durability
***UPDATE***I had written a review about this product (below) and was contacted by the company. The company representatives went over and above to resolve my issues with durability. The company specifically apologized that my dog didn’t get the use out of it as planned, but offered me a refund. I declined the refund and requested a second toy to see if we could make this one last longer. They were quick to respond and sent me a new product. I appreciate the above and beyond mentality of this company and truly, that behavior from a company is what will make me come back for years. Caring about customers, in my opinion, is something is often lost with businesses. Customer care really seems to be a high priority, and due to that we would highly recommend purchasing here. The new toy arrived quickly, and instead of allowing free play with the toy, we supervised our German shepherd and stopped extensive chew activity so help the toy last and now, we’ve had the toy for a couple of weeks and it’s been going great. I specifically enjoy the ease of charging it so that there is more play time.Got this for my dog for a Christmas gift and he didn’t even play with it twice before it broke. I specifically looked for a toy that had better durability. I think the motion sensor is extremely cool and engaging with dogs and I loved the overall concept. Just wish it was more durable so my dog could have played longer.

    Fun and Sturdy!
My dogs absolutely love this. The motor part is hidden inside a tough rubbery outer shell so they can’t chew up or break the hard plastic. The toy bounces, rolls, wags the ropes, and has a barking sound as well. All of my dogs really enjoy this. It came quickly and was as described. Great toy.

Very fun, but not durable for heavy chewers
I bought this toy for my high energy boxer mix. Huge hit – however once she caught it, she chewed the rope right off in about 10-15 min. I replaced that with thick fabric so she could not chew off the part where the rope connected.Thought all was good – she then proceeded to separate the bottom cover and chewed the component that makes it move. Even though I pulled it away from her, she ruined the connection to recharge.HOWEVER – she absolutely loved this! She took deep long naps after playing. When I shut it off for a break, she would bring it to me to turn it back on.I am ordering a second one with hopes that I can consistently tighten the cover enough to avoid it coming off and hopefully it will last longer than a day! Will see how long the second cover lasts.

    FUN…but hard
My dog initially, as you see in the video enjoyed this toy. He liked the motion, she liked the sound that came from it of a barking dog, so she initially had fun with it. But what made it not fun for her, is that it’s very hard as in very hard plastic. Her natural natural habit would be to grab hold of the ropes and shake it, but she soon found out in doing that picking it up and shaking. It ended up smacking her in the head. So at this point with only using a very short time since Christmas, she really doesn’t want anything to do with it. The outside of this toy really should be made of some kind of rubber. And somehow it should be made a little lighter so that it doesn’t hurt the dog when shaking it

    My Dog chews for hours
My dog really likes this toy, battery life is good. Keeps my 1 year old dog entertained. The size is not as big as I thought it will be. My dog is a heavy chewer so he was able to chew the red part up. It’s easy to use and I think it’s safe for dogs medium and small. Big dogs, aggressive chewers will eat the red part and swallow pieces of it. The tug war strings can come off and your dog can swallow it. I do like to toy. Wish it had a a proctor o covering it for chewers.

    Life Saver Toy
Wow just Wow!!! My pup lost her two siblings last year and has not been herself. She no longer got excited about anything. She has not barked in over a year. I thought I would get her this ball/toy and see if it got her out of her depression. Jackpot!!! She loves it and is barking and pawing at it, overall in love with it (we named it Bluey) We actually have to take it away to let her rest. lol. Best toy ever for our girl!! Thank you so much!!!!

Not for chewers even with supervision
ProsMy young dog is blind so the sound and automatic movement was very engaging for her!Very fast charge and lasted a long time withouth having to be recharged.ConsToy is rather small for my 45 pound pit mix.I supervised my dog after reading someone elses review that stated that the item no longer worked after a short period of time due to chewing. This is a pretty hefty price tag for what the Toy is made of!This is not a set it and forget product! If your dog has a strong bite the plastic will puncture causing the toy not to open for charging. All in all my girl had fun but would have hoped that it would have lasted for more than a day!

    Dog likes it
It’s pretty fun, and the dog likes it, so that’s what counts. It holds a charge for a couple of days which is really nice. The only things I don’t like about it is it’s difficult to open because one side is slick so there’s no grip – you have to open it to have access to the power button and charging port. The other downside is only part of it has a silicone covering – the other half is still hard plastic so if it drops, it hits hard. Other than that, the dog thinks it’s great fun and is his new favorite toy, so it serves its purpose

This is a well built toy and does everything as advertised. My dog will not play with toys unless it’s covered in peanut butter so we were hoping to find something more interactive. No go unfortunately. Once I turn it on she goes into another room as it scares her. After several weeks of trying to get her used to it, she still has no interest. This is not a fault of the product as it’s clearly well made but it’s not going to be for every dog.

I have a jack Russell terrier, she is a chewer! She also needs to be busy, I thought this toy would be perfect. I already bought the noisy wobble ball which she goes crazy when she gets it. Unfortunately she has managed to pull apart the plastic at the holes you use to grip it and is now obsessed with biting at the holes and not playing with it. Back to this toy, had it a week, shredded the rope, almost chewed of the place where the rope goes, and made significant bite marks on the red part. So she can no longer have it. It’s a great idea for a toy but needs to be made of a different, stronger material.
