How to maximize the battery life

The mechanical fish has an induction device, which can swim automatically after launching. There is no on/off switch. And please remove the batteries and dry the toys once you used.

Great product that is fun for cats!
These fishes are so much better than the last batch I bought. They are vibrantly colored, and work extremely well, and come with extra batteries! Both of my cats were very interested and had fun playing with them. They seem like such good quality, that I am confident I won’t have to buy any new ones anytime soon.

Comparison of this brand to another for Dog Hunters! Lol
I have 1 year old Weimaraner mix that absolutely loves to chase, hunt, and catch anything wild. I first bought another brand that was much more expensive and without led light feature. I then saw these which gave you more for your money. Instead of 2 per box, it was 6 fish. I also loved the fact they provided the screwdriver, extra batteries, and the box it came in was nice. I did rate it higher than i would have normally due to the presentation of the box, supplies provided, and the LED lights were the best!First, I replaced the fish with brand new batteries I purchased to ensure there was no damage to the battery that would effect the performance of the fish, sounds like I’m gearing up for a musical! Second, I love the led lights and my dog is absolutely mesmerized when I put them in the water to see if it would be a success. Unfortunately, the fish did initially swim and the led lights function perfectly but the rest of the fish needs a better design! Basically, with brand new batteries I purchased, the fish would swim, then stop and proceeded to float, or the fish just sinks to the bottom. I will add a positive, as the fish is hanging out on the bottom, his led lights are working perfectly!, If you do want the dive feature, this particular product does not dive then swim to surface to swim before diving again. I typically always got a good first swim with each fish before it would malfunction.Here are some things I think contributes to the problems with th fish actually swimming like it is suppose too, I noticed the metal piece holding the fin and also what is needed to make the fish be able to swim, is not strong enough (don’t ask me how it works, but know it’s the design of the tail and fin) to get the fish to swim and also it has difficulty in getting the fin to move fast enough to keep it swimming. The actual fin falls off easily so that adds to the issues. I just received this on Monday about 4 days ago, I placed one fish in the water one at a time for a little bit and then later put it in again, but wouldn’t work, so I said okay just a faulty one, took out the second one, same thing happened, so basically I have one new unused fish left out of six and the other ones either wont turn off out of the water, sitting in shambles, or ready to move on to the trash can! Sadly, my dog was not the cause of the damage everyone would expect to be the one to csuse it, including me, I didn’t expect a long life but would have liked maybe a month of supervised fun. I have reasonable expectations, but if I’m supervising her and she is not using any real major force, I would expect it to work a good 2 to 4 weeks of fun These are fantastic to make your dog or cats brain to work, if they are into hunting etc. I have a full Rotweiller and she is not interested it, she may chase something but my other pup won’t stop until she can no longer reach it, it escaped, or one didn’t make it. I know cats are being used to advertise it but it really stimulates dogs in the same way. I think any breeds that will chase other animals, are definitely going to like it. Mine, once on the scent, she won’t stop until someone loses, LolI attached a video to show an example, of a dog using it, you can also see the fish working in your pool. For the use of dogs and most likely cats, the fish really isn’t strong enough to be used effectively. If you are shopping for a gift for a young child, ot perfect and they will love them.When looking at a higher priced brand vs this brand, the main difference is the power of the fish and the actual physical construction of the fish. The other brand has thicker plastic frame than this one and the fin is again a lot stronger which makes the fish swim continuously. As for withstanding dogs or cats, the competition will break in the same manner and death as the competitor, but in terms of performance, these fish have significant issues and they malfunction just by placing in the water vs the competition did not malfunction like these did. I have no idea if fish I got was just a bad luck bunch, but I bought two different brands in the same week, the more expensive one I had no issues with and this one being the less expensive I had malfunction after malfunction. If u just want to let your kids play with them, they are great little toys, but if u want to engage your pet, I would pay more for the quality and the performance. My puppy wants the fish to swim and if it doesn’t then she doesn’t get her brain teaser, so these would not work for my use due to the lack of reliability the fish will swim. I would expect the fish to make it one day swimming in the water before breaking, however, they do not work picking them out of the water, malfunction in the water, or break laying out to dry. It stinks because my dog loves, loves, loves, watching the light as it swims so I wished they were better made because they are really cool, come in a cool box with extra batteries, and a screw driver. It stinks to write they did not past the test on reliable swimming if that is a real phrase, lol, but they would be fine for other uses, like a two year old that just wants to carry it around or throw it in and out of the pool! Lol. It u want it for a dog or cat, I would pay more for a better quality since the purpose is for them to watch and interact with the fish to get their brain working! Unfortunately only have one working fish out of 6 on day 4,it was a. bummer that they do not work for my needs

These are great but have some flaws. They are very small – much smaller than they look. They are super cute though and very colorful. They come with batteries installed as well as extras and a screw driver, which is great. They work once they’re in the water. That’s great and easy, but when you take them out, you must put them back in the box or they will continue to run and waste the batteries. I wish they had an on/off switch. The directions say to let your cat play with them for only 5 – 10 minutes at a time, but I let my cat play with them longer and they’re fine. The light is red and attracts cats. Some of the fish stop after a few minutes or flip over and stop, but if you or the cat flicks it it will start going again. My cat is hard on toys and usually gets at least one fish out of the water. But I’ve found they haven’t gotten damaged and still work fine. I definitely think these are a cute toy for cats and I’d recommend them.

These come packaged so well! My cat loves fishing them out of her little fish tank. I was surprised at how fast the move when you first put them in water. However, after too much time in the water, they don’t move like they’re supposed to. We let them dry over night and they’re working like new again! Very happy with this purchase!

For technically being a toy, these baterry operated and wated activated plastic fish are 5 star indeed. I was actually very impressed with the professional boxed package with single space compartment for each fish, instructive material and extra batteries.. they come loaded with batteries by the way so extra batteries are a plus. Fin and tale with slight separated split joint from body which makes the operation and swim in the water more life like. Tested out in gigantic mixing bowl of water and they worked great.(think there was slight visible light shining inside each one.(sorry but I am reviewing about 2 weeks after got them) Nice colors and markings. Planned to used for my cats to enjoy fishing using tub, giant bowl of small kiddie pool when they need a good fun chg in all there current toys.Sounds silly but I was very impressed with this product. I think I’ll get 1 more set.Sorry, not big on adding pics, get busy with other necessary things)

I wanted to love these
My cat absolutely loved these fish! They worked great for a few days, and then one by one they stopped working. I followed all the rules-only play for 5 minutes at a time, dry off when done, changed the batteries-but no luck reviving them. So sad! My cat just stares at the sink wishing the fish would come back.
