Ok, this cat toy was packaged pretty securely. So, it won’t get damaged being transported. I received it in a timely manner. It looks just like the one advertised. Well, buil. Let’s put it this way. It can take some hard knocks. It doesn’t take long to fully charge and once fully charged it’s play time last a good while. It flashes lights, sounds “bird sounds”. But, to me the most important this is does it memorizes my cat. When, our cat is playing with it sometimes it goes into places where it could get stuck. But, not this cat toy. It hits the wall for example and smoothly goes in another direction. This , keeps your cat very interestined. The movement of this device is spectacular. It, floats like a bird. But, yet because there’s a tail like rope on one end of it. So, as it’s trailing along it way it looks like it moves like a mouse would move running on the floor. I have carpet and tile in My home and this little devise can move over anything. If you think that it’ll get caught up on something. It doesn’t. It just keeps on moving right along. All, I know is that our cat lives to play with it. And, you can go about your business with other activities instead of having to monitor your cat playing while it’s play with this device. It’s safe for you to leave your cat unattended with this device because it’s shuts off after a certain amount of time. This is a wonderful device/cat toy for your cat/cats. Best cat toy ever
If I was a cat this crazy, little ball would be my favorite thing in the world. The way this interacts with its space is amazing. It’s like it’s really alive.It has 2 different speeds, neither of which are really slow, the first is somewhat slower then the 2nd. It scoots around like it’s tail is on fire and I think I get more entertainment out of it then my cat does. After you long press the power button it runs around for maybe a min, but it’s touch activated so if your cat (or dog) is so inclined all it has to do is touch it or just get really close to it and it will turn on. Mine also started moving by itself after about 10 mins of no interaction. I think it may have been reacting to walking on the floor, but I’m not sure, it could be possessed. It did it all night while it was turned on. It freaked me out but it’s great for the cat because it starts to make them consider the possibility that the little ball is actually an animal. It says nothing about randomly turning on in the directions. It seems to hold a charge for quite a few play sessions and charging it takes maybe an hour. It has great chirpy, squeaky noises that will definitely rev your cats engine.Now unfortunately my only issue isn’t with the toy, but with my cat.He’s old (16), but not so old that he won’t kinda play when he’s bored. Honestly he’s always been somewhat lazy. He’d rather watch me play with his toy then actually play with it. He does get interested in the this ball, but just won’t invest alot of energy chasing it.If you have a normal, somewhat prey driven cat, they’ll love this. I’m hoping in time my cat will get more comfortable and start to chase after it. I’m going to keep trying because if he won’t, then maybe I’ll lose a few pounds chasing it down myself. Anyway I think it’s the coolest cat toy I’ve ever had for any of my cats.

Innovative, Fun, Different!
Our cats need excitement! They were fascinated but just a tad frightened by this funny little device. The sound and the flicking “tail” were a bit too much for them the first go round. On hardwood floors the toy is kind of loud, especially the tail whipping around. But they WERE taken with it and watched it and followed it around until it stopped as it is programmed to do after 40 seconds (a GREAT idea, no kidding). It takes a touch to get it going again and our little Edith was startled by the sudden return to action. They did not run away, but were shy about making any further contact. This was all done with the toy on the “slow” setting (which isn’t very slow by my standards).What seemed to help was to later reintroduce the toy with the power turned off. They eventually sniffed it out and batted it around a bit. After that I tried again with the power on and set for the slow speed. This worked better though they were still a little shy about contact. But all along they found it interesting to watch and follow from room to room. This thing really gets around! I think they will come to like it more and more as they get used to it. It is certainly very different from any of their other toys and gets their attention every time.A NOTE: You may want to think about where you turn the toy loose. It gets around almost any room just fine. If it rolls under something it always finds its way back out again. BUT remember it stops and goes on standby after 40 seconds (no lights, no movement, no sound). If it gets under something large and heavy (like a really large and heavy entertainment center) and goes dormant, finding it may become a problem as well as getting it out from under. We ended up going on a hunt after it escaped and went to another room then went on standby. [JUST REMEMBER, if you can touch it, it will start up again and find its own way out]I feel confident this toy will end up being one of their favorites. Just needs a little time. And other bolder cats may very well jump on it right from the get-go. It’s clever, fun, and visually striking; you know, something different.Seems solid, runs well, will operate a long while on a full charge. I think it is a winner in cat toy world!I recommend it!Need to relax? Study a cat!
