Great for small dogs
I bought this dog playpen for my Shih Tzu and French Bulldog, and it’s been a game-changer! Both of them fit comfortably inside at the same time, which was a pleasant surprise given their size difference. The playpen is sturdy, with secure panels that I can easily rearrange to fit my space, and it’s been perfect for keeping them contained when I need a break or when I’m doing household tasks.The material is strong yet lightweight, and it’s easy to clean—both dogs can get a little messy when they’re playing! Sturdy enough for a small weighted pet.
This is a good play area for a small pet. I bought it for my dwarf holland lop rabbit. Its sturdy and a lot more spacious than I expected. Its easy to assemble and not heavy to relocate if required. The base of the ‘walls’ are curled in which doesn’t cause any safety issues for my pet but it also keeps all the rabbit droppings within that space which is convenient for cleaning. I would definitely recommend it.

These playpens Are Amazing! I Give It An Honest 5 Stars!
I own three of these playpens and they are great. I have a 5 pound chihuahua that enjoys pooping around the house at night if I don’t put her in a playpen. It’s plenty tall and big enough for her. I actually use it up against the bottom of my bed on the floor with her doggie steps in it to go up onto the bed. She can go down her steps during the night into the playpen get a drink of water, eat, or lay in her heated bed. It’s very sturdy whether you connect it together so it makes a square or if you disconnect one side and use it as a long doggie gate. The door opens and closes with 2 knobs that easily turn to lock and unlock it. It folds up nicely so you can slide it under a bed or put it in a closet. It’s fairly lightweight too which is nice. You receive just the four sides with no little parts than can be lost. It’s very versatile and can be taken on trips, indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between. There are no metal parts so it can be left outside in summer it’s no rusting. The part that clips the sides together seems very sturdy so if a bigger dog jumped on it I don’t think it would come apart. I think these are way better than the soft sided ones which can tear and blow away. I was not paid or given anything to write a five star review. It’s just an honest happy customer review!

Whatever I say about the IRIS 24” Exercise playpen should really be viewed through the perspective of tempered expectations. You see, the IRIS 24” Exercise playpen is pretty large, but is very inexpensive. Since getting a reasonably priced, temporary pen for a new puppy was the primary goal, we are off to a good start.The pen consists of four injection molded panels that snap together at the hinge points. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble, requiring no special strength or tools. The construction is such that panels from multiple pens could be used to create a larger contained area. Unlike some pens, the door lock status is easily visible and the lock engages and disengages positively. The main goal of this product is to define a space, an not to create a fortress. As such, the whole thing is very light… a dog can slide it around on a hard surface if you don’t take some precautions (I used a couple freeweights). More substantial anti-skid material can (and should) be mounted to the bottom of the panels, if you plan on using this on wood or tile floors. You can get that stuff for a few bucks over at a hardware store.My other gripe is a little more involved. You see, the goal with a product at this price point is to meet a certain strength goal while using as little material as possible. Generally, that means that one of the panel faces will be flat, while the areas needing off-axis rigidity (ex. around the cutouts) will have material in the depth axis. While you can put this material across the entire panel, you really only NEED it around the voids – since material is money, you end up with a bunch of cavities in relief. At that point, you need to make a decision… which way does the flat side face? IRIS chose for the flat surface to face out, presumably for aesthetic reasons. The problem with this is that any messes that are made inside the pen can accumulate in dozens of little cavities. Eww. It’s not a big deal, as you can take the panels outside and hose them out, but I really wish they had opted for the opposite approach… after all, if you’re more than 24 inches tall, you can see the backs of the rest of the panels anyway, right?Gripes aside, this pen is exactly what I was looking for, and worked well. While it’s no longer in use, it can be stored as a very compact package… you can just stack the panels and zip tie (4x) them together through the bars. Recommended.

Installation process was so easy. I will say you are not able to put the pen in a rectangle shape, the walls are extremely flimsy and just wobble when touched. We put it in a somewhat octagon shape and it was very sturdy. It is clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our dog loves it so much. The size was plenty big enough for a small dog and the door stays open on its own and closes with ease. Just received 1/25/25, so I will give it some time to see how it holds up then do an additional update!

Perfect for my Pug!
This is exactly what I needed for my Pug puppy! It is so easy to assemble. Just snaps into place. The little door is so cute & the whole play area is perfect for a puppy. I have the 6 panel play pen. He can push it but, he can’t jump it. Also it is adorable & it is well made & looks nice in my condo. It comes apart easy so I stack it up in the trunk of my car & take it with me when I travel. Love it!!

Great pet pen!
I got the 4 panel for my 2 mini schnauzers to sleep at night. And I love it, my dogs both fit in there comfortably, it’s pretty spacious for small dogs. It was easy to assemble and has small rubber foot inserts so it isn’t moving around. It can be flimsy if your dog jumps a lot but mine don’t so it works for us. Highly recommend!
