    Best Kitty Litter All Around!
The best kitty litter I’ve found! Its important to me to use a natural brand for my little one, and I hate scented kitty litters (no matter how many “deodorizing crystals” they put in, it always just smells like litter cover-up smell, am i right?!)Cleaning the box is super easy with this brand. It clumps great and flushes easily without messing with the plumbing (the litter breaks down and dissolves so fast in water.) When I do a full litter box cleanup/scrub, I dump it all in the backyard and it breaks down entirely in a day or two. This litter is scent-free. I have gotten multiple comments from house guests that they could not smell a litter box or any other “cat smells” in our home, and the litter box is kept in our main bathroom. I am very familiar with that distinct smell that most cat homes have, and am pleased that my guests say it is absent in our home, especially with the litter box being so centrally located.I love how waste-free (flushable and biodegradable!), easy, odorless, and effective this litter is and we will never go back!

    Best litter out there
I’ve tried pretty much every natural litter out there (and many regular kinds as well), and this is the best BY FAR when it comes to covering up smell – and it’s without fragrance! It also tracks far less than other types (e.g., World’s Best) because the pellets are large enough and heavier. You do need to get a moderately wide-slotted scoop, but those aren’t difficult to find. Very low dust! My main complaint is just that it doesn’t clump very tightly. But the small bits that are saturated with urine that fall away from the clump and slip between the slots? I used to be OCD about trying to get them after putting the big clump in the toilet*** until I realized that the odor-covering properties are so good that it didn’t make a difference, and those small pieces just kinda get absorbed into the remaining clean litter. Lastly, YES, this looks expensive upfront. But it lasts SO long that it actually isn’t any more expensive than other types (except maybe the cheapest crappy clay litter that causes lung problems in cats and is terrible for the environment…)***CAVEAT – yes, this is fully biodegradable, so it CAN be flushed in the toilet! This has been a godsend because I clean the litterbox much more often now. I have it by the toilet, so it’s easy to remember and scoop a bit almost every time I use the bathroom myself. If I go #1, the water normally wasted by flushing such a small amount of matter gets to work double-duty because I’ll scoop a bit of the litterbox before flushing! And I’m saving landfills. HOWEVER, only do this if your cat is indoor-only and thus can’t have toxoplasmosis (i.e., is not exposed to other outdoor animals) since outdoor cats can get toxo, which is bad for marine life. If you just adopted your cat, look up how long it takes cats to recover from toxo – I think it’s up to a few months – and wait at least that long before flushing this litter. I haven’t had septic problems, either, although I don’t flush TOO much at once.

    TEA POTTTTYYYY indeed!
Ohhhh how much I love this litter! I’ve been on a litter journey for about a year and a half now. My cats have gone on the ride with me with no complaints or aversions (thanks, kitties!) as I try a zillion different litters to find the best for odor control but also not super dusty that’ll harm my cats or me.I was a World’s Best Cat Litter gal for awhile. Then I got another cat, increasing my household to 2 kitties and I found it to be not as effective for us. I also noticed little weird ant bug things that would appear around the litter and I wasn’t cool with that at all!So the search then continued and I found this litter when I was checking out my local pet store. A worker there recommended it to me soon after they first received this product. “Wood and green tea??? Yeah…whatever. I doubt this’ll work”, I said to myself. But low and behold, I was so surprised! As soon as you open the bag, you can smell how fresh and clean it is. The pellets are a little big and remind me of rabbit food. They do track, I’ve noticed – probably because of their size. The freshness of the litter is great for odor, as one of my cat children tends to drop bombs frequently. When I scoop, the smell is gone and the litter continues to remain fresh. I’ve even had guests just comment on how fresh the bathroom smells and are amazed when I tell them the contents of the litter. It also has good clumping ability. When it hits water, the litter kind of turns into a mush and sort of dissipates. I do flush this litter, but I let it sit in the toilet for a sec to help “soften” the pellets before flushing. The only reason I’m docking this product a star is because of its costs. The price for an 11.7 lb bag is fairly high. I wish they would knock it down a few dollars or so. Even at my local store, it’s around $24 but after taxes, it’s around $26 similarly to the price on Amazon so I just order it now to avoid carrying it home as I have back problems and I don’t have a car.

Oh man, was I skeptical that this litter would work.We have 2 cats, an 11 y/o who’s very fussy about only using large-pellet litters, and a territorial rescue who’s 7. The litter-box is ALWAYS where drama goes down, and when we switch litters you never know what’s going to happen (waking up to pee all over the couch, poo on floor etc). My wife is pregnant, so her sense of smell is whack and she decided we can’t use the old litter we’ve been utilizing. So we tried this one out, and we’ve had ZERO problems it. Below are my list of pros and cons:Pros-Actually smells nice, and hugely masks the odors of litter-box use-It clumps very well-Pellet size and texture are good-Doesn’t seem to track everywhere-Natural, recycled materials-Amazon will deliver this to your doorCons:-Didn’t know about it sooner

I have tried sooooo many litters from clay, to wood, coconut whatever the hell, old news paper, cheap, expensive. None compares to this! Super clumping ability, no dust (and no sawdust left at bottom of the bag) and no cat pee smell! I have two cats in a small apartment and nobody notices the smell anymore. Buy this!

Although the litter sticks a bit to my cats paws (what litter doesn’t?) this is an amazing product. It’s completely flushable so good for the environment. My house no longer smells like cat urine.

  7. Emily Friesen

It is so far so good. Not too dusty, minimal tracking (still does but better than previously used kitty litters) and it clumps pretty well.

  8. Rena

My cat has long hair and this product sticks on his fur and gets transferred everywhere in the house. Like the natural smell but don’t like the little bits of litter everywhere.
