Worked great, even in the 2025 blizzard!
I was very satisfied with the heated house from K&H that I purchased years ago. I needed a heated food/water bowl for the feral cat. I was amazed that the water and food were still warm in 10-degree temperature. I would recommend their products to anyone.

    My Strays LOVE it!
The water does not freeze! Cats are so happy. I catch other wildlife from my yard drinking the water too. Very solid design, bowls are easily removed and cleaned. Cord is solid and long enough to reach where I need it to. Overall very happy with this product! Definitely worth the price paid!

    long term review
This product so far has worked out great. Last night the temp was 14 F and never froze. The temp never gets to hot or cold but the water at 14 will be tap cool (expected). Otherwise in 20-30s will be luke-warm to warm and never hot which is good thing. The water in dry cold weather does evaporate slowly but just add a tiny bit of water when feeding (once a day if that). Sometimes goes few days with no water needed. Again expected when warm water and cold dry air. So far very happy and no problem with the feral cat chewing on anything. In fact cat just sits and drinks out of both bowls and seems very happy. FYI. I bought one of those rubber heated tread mats (just bought one tread,,,a bit pricey but worth) and put in under make shift small tent and box. The cat loves it in the 30 below temps staying in it for hours. It even helped its stiff rear that no longer seems to be a problem.

    Used all last winter.
Had on my porch all winter for community cat water. Temperature was just right and it did the trick of keeping the water from freezing. It was sturdy, safe and VERY easy to keep clean.

keeping the food and water warm
We use this for our outdoor cats on our covered patio where they have insulated houses with outdoor/indoor heated pads. The only thing i would suggest is to make the food bowl the same size as the water bowl. It does work well keeping the water from freezing and food warm. Does not use much electricity and the cord is heavy duty. I would recommend

    on my 2nd years
this heated bowl is on year 2 and keeps the temp between 53 degrees F and 59 degrees F even when the temps go down to 10 degrees F

    Great for stray cat
We have a stray cat that we fed on the front deck, but when cold weather came, the water froze. So I bought one of these heated food dishes mainly to keep the water from freezing. Works great. — Now moved the heated food dish into the barn, and added a Cat hutch with self warming pad. I have a trail camera set up in the area, so we see that the cat loves it. We already have two rescue cats in the house, so this one will have to live in the barn, but it will have warm food and water, and a warm place to sleep.

    Love this bowl
Keeps my feral cats supplied with water in freezing temperatures. Stainless steel bows are easy to remove for cleaning.

Well made, easy to clean, prevents food and water from freezing during even the coldest winter nights. Does not use much electricity (I didn’t notice any difference on the monthly electricity bill).

I use this in a shed for two feral cats. Gets quite warm, so the water evaporates within a day, and the cat food remnants are pretty crispy. Still early winter though, so the colder weather of January and February may counteract some of the heating.

Had it down to -25C and the water did not freeze in the bowl. The bowls are stainless steel and seem to be made well have not rusted or tarnished (only at few months usage so far).Another reviewer reported a metallic smell have found that it occurs as the water evaporates leaving sediments which seem to be the source of the odor, washing it out or a little CLR to remove those deposits that may have hardened on the bowl and the odor goes away, mostly doesn’t happen if you keep the water level topped up or turn off the electricity if it is warm out (I use a remote controlled plug).Water doesn’t get hot even if warm out but it does evaporate quicker, water temp ranges from lukewarm or mildly cold (when really cold out)

I’ve been using this outdoors all winter to feed stray cats. I bought it to replace a bigger bowl from another manufacturer that didn’t even last a couple of months. This Thermo-Kitty Café dish has been much better.I like how it has separate food and water dishes. It gets severely cold here some nights, but this kept the water drinkable and the food from turning into frozen rocks. The little dish seems to hold about a cup-and-a-half of food, and the bigger bowl holds maybe a litre-and-a-half or so. It depends on how many cats are coming by, but I usually have to refill it daily. The metal dishes lift out easily, so they’re not difficult to clean. Once in a while, I’ll bring the whole unit in for cleaning, which I do by wiping it down with a soapy rag. Kinda wish it came with some backup dishes though, so you could swap out the dirty dishes with clean ones. Also, I really appreciate how it has a grounded cord. This bowl’s been outdoors and exposed to the elements. Some days it gets warmer and wet out, and even though this thing seems to be sealed watertight, you’ll still want a grounded cord for safety’s sake.Overall, I’m happy with this bowl.

An excellent product that works well and keeps food and water at a comfortable temperature for feral cats who visit my carport at night when the temps really drop.
