    Great chew toy
My Pomeranian loves her Kong stick! It’s not too hard for her and it is durable. It’s a great size for her I got the small she’s a 6/7 pound Pom. I also catch her rolling it around so it’s good for rolling and chewing!

    KONG 4 Life!
KONG has done it again! This thing is great and MadMax loves it! KONG always has such amazing chew toy products. Max went wild for this new toy. The only problem we have had with this is Max isn’t sure which KONG toy he wants and can’t fit more than one in his mouth at a time. Max will sit and chew on this thing for a quite a while and it shows no signs of breakdown. I don’t use it with the peanut butter or any KONG treat because it is just to messy like I have talked about in other KONG items with the grooves. I personally like this item the best to bring to the park and play fetch because it is easy to toss in my pocket while we walk to the park. Max and I are definitely KONG fans for life!

    Pretty good toy
My dogs like this well enough I guess, it is not a favorite, though. They won’t chew it enough to clean their teeth, and it does not work very well for fetch.I don’t trust Kong’s “natural rubber” claim because it almost always comes with the words “rubber formula.” Is it natural or is it a formula? Does that just mean they bred gum rubber trees to be more durable, or does it mean that it is plastic rubber? It is better than most dog toys either way, as a lot are solid plastic which can cause gum bleeding, intestinal damage, choking, and death. This does not seem like it could cause choking unless you have a VERY LARGE DOG, and even then I think they offer different sizes of toys, and it definitely will not cut your dog in any way, and if digested would most likely be in small particles chewed off.I like that Kong is made in U.S.A.

    Great for Teething Puppy
My 40 lbs. puppy is a potential power chewer so I opted for the normal version of this instead of the puppy one. I stuff a combination of Easy Treat and puppy kibble into the ridges which keep her engaged for awhile. Although, placing the kibble is a time consuming process for less than 1/4 cup. She enjoys it so it’s worth doing once a day.I also jam the end of a pizzle stick into the hole in the center of the toy (it won’t go in the all the way), which prevents her from swallowing it whole. She really likes to pick at vulnerabilities in her toys (chews, rope, or plush), but she hasn’t done any damage to this one yet. After she’s done with it, I pop it in this dishwasher with her other Kongs for easy cleaning.

If you want it to last, not for extreme chewers
Dog: 65 lb GSD/Pittie mix(She rates it 5 stars)The household humans and dog are fans of Kong products although we typically have to get the extreme chewer (the black rubber) version. Our dog loves chewing but we’ve had to transition her away from nylabone-esque toys because she’s chipped some teeth so we’ve been on the hunt for rubber toys she enjoys chewing. She LOVES this! But lasted maybe ten mins until parts started coming off from her scissor teeth. Really wish they had an extreme chewer version.

    My kitties love these!
Yes, cats! They chewed up toothbrushes and other chew toys I tried to use to brush their teeth and I had to find something else. These have lasted the longest. I put their toothpaste in the cracks and they go to town. Small is a bit big for their little mouths, but they don’t have the leverage that a dog does to bite down. They can chew but they can’t tear chunks off them. Their teeth do cut in to the rubber and when there’s a loose piece, I’ll just pull or cut it off. These wouldn’t have lasted too long with my dog, but they do the job for my two cats who are being raised kinda like dogs. 😻

A solution for dogs with sensitive stomaches that can’t handle other dental chew treats, bones, etc.
My dog has some nasty 9 year old dog teeth… and breath. He could probably kill something just by breathing on them. He has a sensitive stomach and cannot handle most treats without getting sick. I was at a loss on how to help with his teeth since I cannot give him the traditional bones, raw-hides, CET chews, etc. This has been a life saver! I lather it in peanut butter and he gnaws on this thing for hours. Seriously, hours. His teeth seem to be looking a little better, and his breath smells nice and peanut-buttery for a while after chewing, but it is hard to tell since we have only been using this a few weeks. But at least it give him something to chew on and keep him entertained either way.

This is great as an alternative to costly and fattening dental sticks for dogs. Buy one that’s much bigger as they are a bit smaller than expected.

Item is really good for my dog, I have a 1 1/2year old Border Collie, and this keeps him busy whilst cleaning his teeth which is really handy! I normally squirt a bit of dog flavored toothpaste in between the gaps for him to lick and chew out! Or a bit of peanut butter which is stickier so more challenging for him to get out and lasts longer. This item doesn’t keep my dog as busy for as long as the proper KONGS (that you stuff) or the Goodie Bone does as he can get the stuff out from in-between the gaps really easily with this toy, but it’s nice to use to fill with the toothpaste to aid teeth cleaning. Or if I fill it with peanut butter and put it in the freezer it lasts longer! It’s pretty durable and hasn’t been teeth-marked or damaged so far! In my opinion the hole down the middle that it says you can put treats in to “stuff-it” is too small. It’s too small for any real treats to be stuffed down it, and if you put something all the way down it my dog struggles to get them out and then gets bored and leaves it. Which means I have to poke it out with something to clean it. But overall it love KONG toys and would recommend.

This is the second one for my dog in 5 yrs. It lasts long time. I stuff it with frozen chicken wiener pieces and dog loves it.
