Most excellent
So far, my 8 month old, 105 pound Newfoundland puppy is a master destroyer of all things, including all of the “indestructible” toys like the Kong Extreme (BTW: NOT indestructable). She’s had this for 6 months and I just had to lay it to rest yesterday and order a new one. Maybe 6 months doesn’t sound like a lot to other people, but to me, it’s borderline miraculous. I will say though, it only lasted this long because she saves her concentrated chewing for her rubber and plastic toys, which she pretty effectively annihilates on a regular basis. This she merely carries around, fetches and tugs. This is a product that I would highly recommend and it’s a toy that my Newf would definitely miss if it weren’t replaced…it’s practically her favorite toy.To address any preceding or proceeding reviewers bemoaning the fact that their dog chewed this to pieces, let me just say that This. Is. Not. A. Chew. Toy. It says so in the product description. This is a “tug and toss” toy. Of course your Pitbull or GSD (or whatever) ripped it to shreds after chewing on it for 10 minutes, because that is not what this product was meant for. It’s longevity depends more on your dog’s personal chewing habits than anything else. If your dog doesn’t like to tug or play fetch with it’s toys and just immediately goes to town trying to destroy whatever toy is given to it, this toy will be ruined. That doesn’t mean that this is a bad toy, it means it’s not being used as it’s meant to be.Also, there is no such thing as an indestructible dog toy. My Newf chews on the fire hydrant in front of our house and it’s no worse for the wear. If you’re looking for indesructible, I’d recommend a fire hydrant.

Don’t Believe Negative Reviews! This Is NOT A Chew Toy & Company States That!!
UPDATE: DO NOT buy into all the negative reviews for this toy – it is NOT meant to be a chew toy; it’s designed to be a ‘toss & fetch’ toy, and my dog has had his for TWO YEARS and not even a single string off of it! He has other toys we give him that are specifically designed (and stated in product description) for chewing on; this isn’t one of them. The description CLEARLY states, this toy is for ‘toss & fetch’ play. Don’t blame the people that can’t or don’t read before buying and leaving this toy with the dog to chew up. My dog would chew it up too, if we left it with him to chew, but WE DON’T, because it’s a ‘TOSS & FETCH’ toy!!This is one of my dog’s favorite toys!! He loves to fetch, so this is very easy to toss (not too heavy, but extremely well made; tough material), but strong enough to put up with some serious tugging. Even the loose strips on the ends are made of incredibly durable material, and my fur baby will chase/tug with this for hours. Well worth the money!!

WRONG PRODUCT SHIPPED
I ordered the Kong Tugga Wubba for my 7 month old Golden Retriever after she played with one at another dog’s house. She absolutely loved it and did not tear it up at all after 3 weeks.HOWEVER, I ordered one from here, the exact same Kong Tugga Wubba with squeaky middle, etc. I did NOT receive this item. I received a Kong Tugga Wubba with a rope middle, something I would not have ordered ever because my golden likes to tear up ropes. I decided not to deal with the hassel of returning it over such a small amount of money. By the end of the day, the toy was torn up and ruined. I wish I would have received the item I actually ordered.Highly disappointed. Be careful.

New design, better or worse?
Well, many have posted pictures of where this toy will eventually give way… But this one is a top favorite of my two dogs! Great to play keep away and pull apart. But most enjoyable (from their view) was the skweekie noise they get when running around and skweezing the center tube playing keep away. I have reordered many of these in the past since they tend to eventually wear apart (but not that quickly relatively speaking) plus you can resurrect one or two times with a little help of some duck tape… if desired. Now, this last one that was sent by amazon.com was different then pictured… The area that seems to fail has been replaced with a new design. Only down side the dogs seem to notice in the first 2 minutes… That no more skweekie noises. This changes everything. It is to be seen if it will hold up better… But more importantly keep them interested.

Not as tough as most Kong toys.
My dog is a very aggressive chewers. I generally buy her Kong brand toys because they’ve held up well with my other dogs. This one lasted about 1 day before it shredded into millions of pieces of string.

This is one you should purchase in multiples… 🙂
Okay, I have a 19 month old Belgian Mal. He is a great Bite Dog/Working Dog! He loved this thing, however we purchased this on 8/14/15 recieved like 3-4 days later! It has been killed! My dog loved it so much that he began by pulling the tassels off and well enough said! I have to say I love Kong Products, I am not saying do not purchase it withstood a 90 lb. dog hanging onto it and being lifted up and spun around during training sessions… I am purchasing a stock pile of these since these seem to be his favorite. Just don’t leave dog alone with the toy if they are destructive. Toys are mine, not his, he plays with them and I allow him to play with my toys… I will never leave him alone with this favorite of his again to assist me in saving some money!Again… He loved the toy so I guess that means I am very fond of it as well!!Buy it, it is worth it, even if the dog destroys it, that just means they liked it!!!

I hadn’t seen this design before but my dog already loves his Kong Wubba – it is the only thing still in (almost) one piece as he rips most things – so I had to try it.Well this item is twice as good as the standard Wubba for him as he is fascinated by the tails and working to detach them from the body and this toy has twice the tails! The squeak feels robust and so far it is standing up well to the attentions of a terrier, he has ‘killed’ two of the tails but I just stitched them back on so good as new.If you have a dog who is very tough on toys I would recommend this item.

anche non avendo trovato la vecchia caramella che il mio labrador aveva questa la sostituisce degnamente, anzi posso dire che e’ molto piu’ resistente del vecchio prodotto, la consiglio a tutti!

Apart from the original Kong, this item stands up to an ‘Attack of the Malamutes’ and is only the second in 6 months, pretty damn good. This stands up well to tug-o-war with my only negative being that the XL doesn’t squeak like the L did, so maybe it’ll live even longer.Very little to become detached and swallow/choke on, it’s not a chew toy . . they’re bones for that.I can recommend it for safe entertainment !
