Best dog sweater on Amazon
I basically read hundreds of reviews on dog sweaters to find the best bang for my buck and I think this is IT. I mostly was nervous about having something I had to slide over my dogs head because he is a DMT rescue and has a lot of trauma. (If you don’t know what that is, google with caution and rescue with caution if you decide to go that route it can be A LOT of work and not for a first time dog owner and only for those willing to put in the work. I digress.) We’ve put in so much work but he’s not of fan of things going over his head, being toweled off after a rainy walk, etc. So I do wish there was a Velcro at the neck to avoid causing him distress. But what did was leash him up BEFORE sliding the sweater on, and I actually did it outside because he tends to stay still when in a less familiar environment. ANYWAYS. This sweater feels very substantial, I feel like it’s good quality and kept my little Samson warm on a backpacking trip where the temp dipped into the low 40s (that’s what we got it for). Yes he’s fluffy, but he shed his undercoat that he had when we first got him because he lives inside, (I’ll try to add a third picture if I can find it) whereas his shelter was located outside. So he never grew that back, so we wanted to make sure he was still warm when camping and stuff. He didn’t like it at first, but seemed WAY more content when we backpack and camp in cooler weather. We live in the PNW I would say the sizing is pretty accurate. The length was just a LITTLE bit too long, so as you’ll see from the picture it flipped up sometimes because of his tail. But I would rather it be too long than too short because I can always get it hemmed. I have another coat that’s too short and it looks kind of pointless LOL. Long story long, yes the fabric will catch on brush, but overall the fabric and Velcro feel substantial and good. I would buy this sweater again and this brand again 1000%

At last… fit for barrel chested dog
The pictures should show you that it has velcro flaps for the underbelly. That is exactly what I wanted, and I took a chance on getting this one. So glad I lucked out. My pittie has the barrel chest, but isn’t super long, so finding a sweater that fits her correctly is a challenge. They generally end up being too long due to her chest size. This one fits her like a glove. She has 26+ in chest, but I only wanted about 16in long on the back. She’s about 50 lb. I bought a size medium. It’s perfect. It’s little weird how the pieces flap and velcro underneath, but the way they do it keeps it looking very sleek. Just little awkward putting it on. ‘m sure I’ll get used to it, but it’s a weight she can wear indoors all winter as she likes having a sweater on. This sweater certainly costs a lot more than any other sweater I have ever bought, but seeing how it fits, and the pretty color, it is completely worth it. It’s a great weave too. Not fleecy (catching tons of hair) and not knitted acrylic, which gets very distorted over time. The zippers keep it from being stretched backwards. Highly recommend if you have a dog with a big chest in ratio to their body length. The velcro makes it really adjustable.

The best vest!!
My dog is 90# and deep chested and the large fits her perfect! (Use the sizing chart!) She has these in four colors and loves to wear them all winter! They don’t stretch out and stay put. The front zipper is great to give her a little extra room in the chest.

Measure before choosing size
We are happy with the quality of the jacket. The red color we chose was cute, and the zipper to make the collar wider to fit over a dog’s head was a smart feature.We also liked the added back zipper, which can be adjusted along its whole length to allow a leash to go through. It lets us use our dog’s harness, which sits farther on his back, with the sweater over it just fine.Maybe it was a mistake on my part based off the size chart, but we found the one we chose to be too big. Our beagle is about 27 pounds, and we chose a medium. However it was much too big to the point where I could Velcro it enough to keep it on. I’ll return it for a small thought because of the overall quality.

Fits my pug well,
My pug is very happy wearing this coat. It is easy to put on her. I believe it is keeping her warmer on her early morning walk. It fits her well. My only complaint is that it did not come in a pink or red for my little girl,

Nice color
It washes well. Air dry. Keeps it’s shape well. Maybe a tiny short but overall he looks handsome. Sometimes will put his blue harness over it. I also bought the blue one and pleased as well. Not sure it’s worth the price however it appears well made. Velcro strength is good even after being washed. Easy to put on and take off. Pretty color.For reference. Size medium. He is about 55lbs. Enough room when his coat is longer.

Keeps my pup toasty!
The fit on this thing is great! I have a pit mix with a broad chest that is sometimes hard to fit, but this is very adjustable and fits great. It has two convenient zippers for collar or harness attachment. I also love the color! It washes well too!

The material is good quality and I love the color! The fit is a bit off for my dog. It’s big around the neck so sometimes it slips off one shoulder. The fit around his stomach is also too big for him as tight as it can go. But here’s the thing, the length down his back is great! Any shorter and it wouldn’t keep him warm.

Bought two for a large Great Dane, the size and fit were excellent, and it was easy to get on the dog, materials are very good and easy in the washer and dryer. The price is excellent, would buy again and rate them a ten. Colours are very nice.

Praktischer Pulli für unsere Bulldogge. Da bei diesem Pulli die Beine des Hundes nicht wie bei anderen Modellen durch Beinöffnungen gepult werden müssen sonder wie bei einem Mantel ein Klettverschluss vorhanden ist, freuen sich die Gelenke.
