This super absorbent, lint-free chamois is incredibly versatile. Reducing dog drying time and perfect for cleaning up spills during bathing. Ideal for wiping wiping faces, paws and legs after walks, eliminating the need for smelly dog towels. Stored wet ready for use in the handy container, ideal to be kept in the car. To keep your towel in good condition, simply wash in warm water with a mild detergent, either in your machine or by hand after each use. Always keep your towel damp in the case supplied. Also available in a medium size (66cm x 43cm). Drying Tip – Rub the dog vigorously and quickly but do not rub too hard. Wring out the chamois frequently before continuing to press the water out of the dogs coat. Be gentle around the dogs chest, neck, ears and paws.

Extremely effective to dry dog’s coat and cut back on dryer time. It’s a bit expensive so hope it lasts.

Excellent shammy, does lose its aqua color quickly
We use this shammy weekly to dry our mini poodle after baths. It pulls an amazing amount of water from him, and rinses clean very easily. FYI it did lose its nice aqua color within a few uses, which doesn’t bother me (or the dog for that matter!). Would purchase again, possibly in different sizes (medium for body, smaller one for face/legs).

Bought on the strength of the reviews after seeing a link to it when buying a new tub of dog shampoo, and even though the idea of using a towel that you kept damp seemed a bit strange I thought that it was worth a try at the price. Couldn’t be more pleased. It’s amazingly absorbent, so instead of using several old towels (which then need washed) to dry the dog after I’ve bathed him, this is all I need. It also seems to manage to get him a lot dryer than regular towels did, so he’s drying off a lot faster, which he certainly appreciates now the weather is colder! It was so good I tried it on the horse too, obviously a lot bigger, but worked just as well, I just wrung it out as I went. Size wise, it’s a good size but not too big, any bigger and it would be difficult to rinse and wring out. It also seems to come up nice and clean without having to wash it, it was was pretty dirty after using it on the horse, but a rinse under the hot tap with a little washing up liquid and it came up like new. The towel also fits very neatly into the plastic container for storage, and the container seems robust enough that it’s not going to fall apart any time soon.
