Excellent protection & comfort for dog
I was initially not pleased, when I got this suit,hoping.to prevent my dog from chewing & licking a hip area surgery. We tried the cone, bitter apple spray and she was not deterred from damaging herself.The only thing that has helped has been pajamas but I needed some lightweight, because it’s been hot where we live.Anyway, the material I ritually is so odd, I didn’t like it. I have had to wash it to clean out wound stains.and.while.I needed stain remover & a brush, it comes out of the wash nice & clean. The fabric softens after just one wash, it is durable because the dog still licks herself, and bites some but it has held up like new.She is also comfortable in it despite the heat outside.The fabric isn’t very stretchy so measurements matter.Highly recommend it now we’ve used it for several.weeks.

Odd, blouse-y feel to it
Got this for a pit/husky mix. I used his measurements to order: back and neck length best fit a 2XL, girth a L, so I went with the 2XL to have enough room for all measurements. It’s an excellent fit in neck and length, but the legs are something else. The size of the cuffs (combined with how light and flowy the material is) makes me think of women’s blouses or something like harem pants. It’s pretty comical in my opinion. If he had the girth to go with this shirt, it might be a totally different vibe.He seems comfortable in it, though. I get clothes for him because it helps him feel more secure, which means fewer attempts to adjust my bedding before he sleeps and less damage as a result. He’s happily sleeping beside me currently. When up and moving around, I see lots of his dark fur poking through the material, looking like stubble. Doesn’t seem to bug him, though! He was able to play fetch with me and jump up and down from my bed with no trouble. This won’t be a trip hazard like some other items I’ve picked up. My favorite thing, though, is how easy it was to get on him. The opening is a great size, significantly bigger than the neck and easy to get legs and head to their intended positioning… I didn’t need him standing to get it on him so long as I could get him to roll onto the other side. That makes him VERY happy; he doesn’t quite have the trust in me to let me pick up a foot that’s contributing to his balance before putting it in its sleeve. Genuinely surprised me now easy this was to put on him.Edit: I should add that I took him out while wearing this, and he was able to pee and poop without getting the outfit dirty. BIG plus!

I have a 65lb dog ordered 2x and its big but not a stretchy material. Not easy for him to move around in. It is good quality materials, but just not good for an active or large dog.

Good sun protection, wide legs
The fit on this is interesting. The body fits well, and the legs are a good length – not too long like some tend to be. However, the legs are incredibly wide, even on my rather stocky boy.The fabric is lightweight and breathable, but my pit mix’s fur sticks right through it in little patches.I’m not sure how great it will be for cooling, but it should at least be good sun protection without being too hot.

Must have tool for Texas summers
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and breathable these cooling pajamas are! The material is thin and lightweight, with tiny holes throughout that really help with airflow, perfect for keeping my dogs cool during hot summer days. It’s soft to the touch and doesn’t irritate their skin at all.The fit was great on both my 60lb and 70lb dogs. While it was definitely a snug fit on the 70lb one, it still worked exactly as needed and didn’t restrict movement. They could run, lay down, and play comfortably. Plus, it helped cut down on the loose fur all over the place. Overall, this is a great summer outfit for big dogs! Love this!

Not for shorties
My Sunshine is rather broad through the chest and shoulders but short through the legs so this neat little cooling suitie does not quite fit her as it would a taller dog. I had to order a size up to accommodate her neck and shoulders which means that the back length is several inches too long and the legs are all several inches too long. The first and so far only time she’s worn it, I had to constantly roll the sleeves up and be vigilant whenever she sat down because of the way she sits (it made it easier for the back leg sleeves to just fall right off…). The fabric is lightweight and she seemed very comfortable in it otherwise and she wore it for the better part of a day (it also prevented her from scratching a spot on her shoulder that was getting red because she’d been continuously scratching it so that was helpful). It washed up nicely when I popped it into the washing machine though I did hang it to dry as opposed to tossing it in the dryer. I’ll be happy to put this on her again once I’ve shortened the sleeves and the back length so that she’s more comfortable (and safer) in it than the first go ’round.
