Great options for swaddling my cat
I have two cats. One of them loved being swaddled in this blanket, while the other squirmed her way out of it. However, I think it’s just a matter of getting them used to it. I didn’t realize how important the fabric would be on this. I was expecting just a cute blanket, but the fabric is somehow self-adhesive, velco-like. It’s hard to explain, but when you wrap one piece over the other, it clings in a way that you have to pull it apart to open it. It’s not like a prickly velcro strip, because the fabric is soft to the touch, almost like fleece. But it clings to itself. Very clever! I think the key is to let your cat sit on the blanket on a couch or bed, unswaddled, first. Then swaddle them and just sit for a while. Do that a few times until they get used to the swaddling and find it comforting. Then you’ll be ready to use it for nail clipping. The clippers worked well. I’ve always just used cuticle scissors, and these are similar, but seem a little bit stronger. Overall, an upgrade to my nail cutting routine.

Even though the cat is shown in the photo, there is no cat included, I had to substitue my own cat to try it out and fortunatly he looks like the cat in the photo. Cat did not like being turning into a burrito and having his nails trimmed but this little wrap made it all work out. Nails have been trimmed and the cat is not happy that he is not still wrapped up in the little blanket. Reasonable price and it works well.
