This is fantastic for your dog.Zeus is a 135 lb 50% Rottweiler. I purchased the large and he has plenty of room to stretch out width and length wise.I leave it on the floor of our bedroom where he enjoys a nice nap whilst we are gone for the day.The bedroom is low light and this mat makes his sleep so much more cool and comfortable in the summer heat even with the AC running.

My dog loved it. It seemed to keep him cool. It was a good price. It was easy to wash . It did its job as long as he was here to use it. It’s not very thick but it worked ok for cooling. It was cool to the touch

Actually is very cool!
This shocked me how much it worked like my dogs have loved it since our ac went out and I toss it in the fridge for a second and they stop panting I got the largest size being uncertain if all Mt dogs would use it or if just one would and they all 3 can fit on it. For my trip from sc to oh I put it in the freezer an hour before leaving and then put it in my car and they all laid comfortably for about 4 hours then started panting so I stopped at a rest area and took them out and took the blanket out and shook it around and got the cool touch back to it them we all took off again the rest of the way they stayed settled! They normally panting non stop till the 9hr drive is over but they didn’t this time.

Will a Malamute like it?
Finny is our 6 year old Malamute. He was a stray that we took in. We are in Iowa so he loves our winters, but summertime can be a little tough for him. Normally he sleeps on the cool hardwood floors or the bathroom tiles in front of the AC vents. He is getting a little older so I wanted to get him something cool to lay on and give a little extra grip for him to stand up on so he isn’t slipping on the bare floors. I took it out of the package and put it down for him, after a little coaxing I got him to try it. I was surprised he seems to enjoy it. It does offer a little grip on the bottom, but not as much as I was hoping for. But it does feel cool to the touch and he seems pleased with it. We got the largest size and it was plenty big for him.
