Easy installation and sturdy
Sturdy and very easy to install. My cat loves to hang out while I’m working or gaming so this gives her a nice cozy spot.

Difficult assembly
Update: I’m increasing my rating to 4 stars – despite the difficulty with assembly, my cats love it. It keeps them out of my way while I’m working and lets them sleep near me and 2 out of my 3 cats are in it every day.I got this in hopes my cats would stop wanting to sit on my keyboard while working from home. The bed is made up of a sturdy metal frame that comes in two halves and must be put together. The halves are held in place by pins that pop up through holes on the other tube. This sounds simple enough but proved exceedingly difficult to out together. If you’re not perfectly straight, one or both sides will go on crooked and become stuck due to the low tolerances. Both my husband and I struggled to first put the halves together, then separate, and put them together again after the frame was bent from trying to reposition them.Once we were able to eventually out them together, the cover went on easily and feels sturdy. It’s like a hammock with the frame as support for the inner bed that hangs over the side of your desk. There is a screw to hand-tighten the frame onto the clamp and I don’t trust that I was able to tighten it enough to last very long and remain stable. I think both the screw and pin issues could have been resolved by using some small Allen screwes to ensure it can be assembled easily and remain tightened under extended use.My 14 lb cats are a little unsure of it so far, but it has held up under their investigations.
