I bought this for my service dog Basil so we could attend a wedding, and to say I’m thrilled with it would be an understatement!I’d argue you get better quality than what you pay for, it’s breathable, lightweight, easy to button, and looks absolutely dashing! It was a slightly tight fit for my 70-75lb male American Golden Retriever, but it wasn’t terribly constricting and allowed a wonderful movement flow that didn’t interfere with him having fun, jumping, tasking, laying down, or even going potty!It’s fashionable (the black looked fantastic on his red coat), functional, and survived the whole night without so much as a loose thread! He sheds like crazy, and somehow it repels hair decently? When I pulled the tux off him after getting home, hardly any fur stayed on the fabric!The only possible criticism I have regarding the outfit is the bow tie. It’s adorable, but not terribly stable. It’s a bit floppy and doesn’t look good in pictures unless it’s adjusted.Outside of that small thing, I highly recommend this product! I feel you’d be hard pressed to find anything better for this price, or higher! It was also made for more than just lapdogs, which is another benefit (big dogs can’t have cute outfits too?).

Well-made and true to size! Golden retrievers probably need the L-XL+.
This pup tux is very well-made for the price, especially compared to most “costume” tuxes. The fabric is similar to a thicker human dress shirt and actually buttons in the front! The bow tie is sewn in place and looks fine, but also looks easy enough to remove if you want to sew on a different color (like I had planned).My male 7-month old, 70lb English golden retriever was near the higher end of the measurements for the L-XL when I ordered it, but the L-XL+ was not (and still is not) available. Upon arrival the L-XL fit him okay in the neck and chest but was a little tight across the shoulders. When we did the second fit-check just three weeks later, it had gotten too small. He is now 8 months and 80lbs with measurements just past the L-XL ranges, and we still have three weeks until the event.Even though we ended up returning this item, I still highly recommend it. An adolescent or full size English golden would probably do best in the L-XL+. Keep in mind that there is little stretch in this fabric type–if your pet measures at the very end of the sizing ranges, you may want to order up for their comfort.

Odd Sizing but Looks Nice
We had a bit of trouble trying to figure out what size would work for our dog, as this item has very odd sizing. We ended up returning our first purchase and ordering the L-S size for our 15 lb Corgi, which works perfectly. My fiance thinks he looks like a butler, but I think he looks so handsome! We appreciate that this is one of the few dog suits that comes in burgundy, which matches my fiance’s wedding suit. Can’t wait to see our dog walking down the aisle in his matching dog suit on our wedding day!

Excellent Quick XL Option – Mods Made
Our doggy daycare scheduled a prom, and one of our boys was nominated for prom king. So, he had to look good.We ordered two of these in the black and grey colors, both XL. The suit material is thick, and the shirt material is thin. Overall, the quality is good. There were a few loose threads around the neck of the grey suit (right above the lapel), but nothing that I tried to fix for this purpose. These will arrive folded in a small bag. I tried using a tiny iron to get the creases out, but found that hanging them in a steamy shower worked a little better.The 75-lb dog in black filled it out to its limits. His measurements are a 21-in neck, 31-in chest, and 23-in back. The neck is snug, but doable. The armpits of the garment seem tight, like the sleeves needed to be an inch more apart across the back maybe. The back length was spot on.The 75-lb dog in grey had a much looser fit. His measurements are a 20-in neck, 33-in chest, and 25-in back. The back length was spot on. The garment was super loose and baggy around his undercarriage.For both suits, I folded back the sides after the third button and secured the flap with glue (last-minute fix – see 4th pic) to allow the boys to pee freely. Buttoning/unbuttoning alllll the buttons during test fits was not fun, and I didn’t want to put the daycare attendants through that. The Velcro at the top and two buttons was enough for our guys.I replaced the bowties with some from a multi pack I bought on Amazon a few years ago. Boutonnieres were made with clip-on flowers from Joann with a sprig of greenery added with hot glue. I feel like someone else with sewing ability could really use these as a base for more customization if they wanted.

My boy is going to attend a basketball with me since he is a service dog, so I thought you know what why not get him a suit that matches my dress!The sizing was kinda a pain to figure out but I think it fits him perfectly with plenty of room so that he is comfortable!
