Don’t bother with any other scoop
This is a durable, German Shepherd-proof product. Our dogs love to chew plastic and the other scoops we bought were no longer an option. This is the best solution. I wish I had just gotten this scoop when we got our cat and litter boxes.

It’s ok. The space between seems too large. At the bottom it should be smaller to clean better. The base where the scoop rests should also be weighted.

Works great with pellet-style litter!
I was looking for a litter scoop that would work with clumping pellet-style natural litter (Okocat low tracking litter, specifically) & was metal. This does a real great job of sifting out the clumps and letting the pellets fall through. Very minimal pieces get stuck in the scoop, just a few taps and they fall out. Would definitely get this again and recommend to anyone using pellet-style litter.

Easy to push through litter .. but don’t twist around corners
The metal part has two bars that go into the same hole of the wood handle. If you twist your wrist instead of just scoop then they break free and spin freely. I’ll be adding a handle with two holes to fix the two I bought but be warned
