A COOL DEAL!
THIS THE COOLEST cool pad I have bought for my lil’ fur ball pom!! it is a cloth “bedding” but still nicely cool!It also has one whole cornered pillowing that he seemed to really like! he put his chin on it while stretched out ilike being on a lounge chair!! he loves it so Ilove it!! it is a soft light pinkish/ lavender color!! My little guy does’t sum to mind!

I bought this and it fits perfectly in my puppy’s 30″ crate. The material it’s made of is very thin. It reminds me of the little dolls we made out of pantyhose and polyfil in home ec. Very thin but seems to stay a bit cool which is nice. I washed on cold delicate and hung dry per instructions. It held up.My puppy didn’t seem to love it. When it was in his crate he was digging at it nonstop instead of going to bed. I was afraid he might rip it open so I removed it from the crate, put his regular bed back and he went right to sleep. I set this under a shelf to get it out of the way and later found my senior dog sleeping on it! The bottom is rubberized so it doesn’t slide on the wooden floor. Since my senior dog likes it so much, I’m keeping it under the shelf for him!

No padding included
I expected the mat to have more padding. I understand it’s a mat, but even most mats have more cushioning than this. It’s basically just a cloth. It would be better suited for use on top of a dog bed or something soft underneath.

I Guess You Could Say This is Kinda Cool
This mat is a great one. I bought it for my cats, I don’t have a dog, and when our a/c went out they laid on it a ton. Now that our a/c is working again, the cats have gone back to laying on regular blankets. But that’s not a fault of the manufacturer, cats usually prefer heat. However, that speaks to how well this mat works that when the cats were needing to cool down, they instinctively laid on this. The little pillow part of it needs a little time and fluffing to come up to its full potential height, but it doesn’t take long because it’s not foam. I would absolutely recommend this for animals that do seek to cool down, like dogs.

This is fine. It’s super thin. Not quite what I was expecting. Closer to a pee pad with a bolster. The bolster isn’t huge. I’m using it in a crate and it works for that. I can’t speak to the cooling effect, but it works for that. 4 stars.
