Cool effect from the smooth fabric
Ok I knew thar this wasn’t going to actively cool down my doggie. But the fabric is smooth, in contrast to all his furry, fuzzy beds that help him stay warm in cold weather. No sides or bolsters, just a nice comfy pad to lay on. My pup laid down on this as the day got warm and seemed to enjoy it just fine. The bottom is definitely non-slip and the edging seems sturdy enough to last. Washing on gentle and air drying should keep this is good shape for a few years. We’ll use this in the summer and it will be handy for travel since its so lightweight. Nice warm weather alternative that’s still cushy enough for my fur baby.

Not cooling, but not a bad dog bed
This is a soft mat that my dogs like laying on, but it’s really not cooling. The material is cool to the touch initially, but quickly warms to body temperature (I sat on it myself to check lol). This was the main reason I ordered it, so I’m a bit disappointed. Still a decent dog bed.Other perks:- the material is smooth but not plasticy, and doesn’t hang onto dog hair like other materials (at least for fluffy-haired dogs)- it’s quite squishy, nice for my older dog’s old bones- I like the color. Not a fan of dog beds that are covered in patterns or are insane bright colors. The seafom green color is not a bright/aggressive aquamarine, thankfully.- quality rubber/silicone/grippy bottom. it doesn’t move around when my dogs flop onto it.- I can’t remember if it has a chemical smell when I first opened it, but I DO remember chemical smells from other dog beds (and human beds!). If this had a scent, it dissipated very quickly.

Hard to know if it works
These mats work great for our cats, they love to lay on them for beds. I usually just put them outside when it gets hot and they lay on it. But without them telling me, I have no idea if it cools them, I do know that when I place my hands on it, it feels cool. But I love the padding, and it’s a nice little daybed for them to use outside that I can just shake out and fold up. Perfect size for a small dog or medium cat. These are very lightweight mats.

Actually works
This cooling pad is lightweight and easy to throw in the wash. It is very functional as it has a cool feel to it. I am excited for my dog to have it to chill on in these warmer months. The quality seems very good like it will hold up for a long time. I believe I ordered the smallest size, which is perfect for my 7lb dog. She has enough room to sit or lay on this pad.

Helps cool the fur-babies after their walks
I ordered the 24″x18″ for our dogs. One is 22 lbs. and the other is 24 lbs. If your dog is any bigger than this I would go up to the next size. I really like that it has a non-slip underside, it is easy to wash and it has a good cushion to it. The cushion is well made and will be able to withstand some wear and tear from the dogs. I keep it on a tile floor so it seems to stay cool in that spot. I also like that I don’t have to fill it with any water and worry about any leaks. It is also foldable which makes it easy to travel with. I have yet to see them use it to cool off on, but we haven’t hit peak summer months yet. I will update accordingly. For now, they like it as a bed.

For small dogs!
If you’re like most people, then you probably neglect to heed the product dimensions, look at the picture and make assumptions. So, to save you the trouble of potential return, let me first emphasize, it’s sized for small (10-15lb) dogs only.Now, as far as the mat, my pup took hold of it and went at it for 5-10 mins straight, minus the water break in between, with the destructive power like only a puppy can unleash. I’m pleased to report, the mat survived the initial onslaught unscathed, an automatic 5* for me. The fact that it actually held this puppy’s attention for this long also gets a 5* for me. Honestly, this is better than any toy in this price range. He then abruptly passed out, exhausted, 3 feet away from the mat, so that’s that. But hey, maybe he’s just warming up to this cooling mat lol
