Yorkie approved. I had to replace the gel one i had after it got mold, she had a pee accident on it and this even absorbed and washed out well.It’s been hot in nyc and she learned to lay on it as its just nice and cooler than her bed or rug. It’s not a cold mat, but she likes fabric and this provides a comfortable option when she’s feeling hot

Cool Cats
Living in the southwest it can get pretty hot both outdoors and indoors. Having two cats and one being a Norwegian forest, I wanted to help them keep extra cool indoors with something to lay on. Coming here to Amazon I found the perfect pet cooling mat! It’s cool to the touch, you can place it anywhere like any other blanket, and my two cats know exactly what to do when they feel the heat coming on. When I have my AC on, the mat gets extra cool for them and they take advantage of its fabric. I had purchased two of these and placed them in different spots for them to lay on. Needless to say, I even tried it myself once and put my arm on it and definitely felt the coolness, haha.This is perfect for all pets. We needs to keep them cool in the hot summer days as well and this is a wonderful item! They have different sizes as well so if you have both big and small cats and dogs they will certainly enjoy this!

Good for small dogs, but not very durable for chewers
I bought this cooling mat for my 6-month-old husky puppy, hoping it would help her stay cool in Panama’s hot tropical climate. While I didn’t feel a strong cooling effect, it did stay at a neutral temperature and never got hot, which was a plus.The size was great for a puppy, but as my husky grew, it became too small for her. Eventually, I gave it to my neighbor, who has a small poodle, and it worked perfectly for them. If you have a small dog, cat, or even a toddler, this mat could be a great choice.Pros:✅ Lightweight and foldable – easy to store and carry.✅ Soft and comfortable – my husky even used it as a pillow when folded.✅ Easy to clean – just throw it in the washing machine.✅ Works well on the floor – it doesn’t overheat.Cons:❌ Not very durable – my husky loved it, but she also chewed on it, and the material (soft fabric) wasn’t strong enough to handle her teeth.❌ Cooling effect is mild – it helps maintain a neutral temperature but doesn’t feel extra cold.Final thoughts:If you have a small pet or a gentle dog, this mat is a great option for keeping them comfortable. However, if your dog loves to chew, this may not last long. It’s good for the price, but not the best choice for large or active dogs.Would I recommend it? Yes, but mainly for small pets or children.

Cools down right to the touch! Dog is happy, I’m happy. Material is made really well, should last a long time & the very reasonable price makes it a steal imho – definitely will buy another one

Slightly cool, thin material
The product came quickly, which was nice. I originally was drawn to the larger size (XXL) of this specific cooling mat. The size is a nice feature, as it is large enough for our golden retriever and Bernedoodle to share. I am fairly disappointed in the quality of the material. I most certainly was not expecting anything super fancy. I just wanted something we could throw out on the patio or on the ground at the campground when hot outside. The durability really is sub par. I was expecting a thicker material on top and backing that was maybe a little waterproof. Within literally the first 30 seconds my doodle had snagged the thread with her nail just by walking on it. The total mat thickness isn’t as thick as a hoodie. The back layer is a mesh type material. The pro to the thin material is I imagine it will be easy to throw in the wash. I think I would’ve been more satisfied with the purchase if it had been around $20…. Definitely not worth $40 in my opinion. Hopefully my dogs enjoy it for a while at least.

It works
I based my purchase off the picture showing two dogs on this cooling mat and it really is only big enough for my Minpin mix. But it is a nice cool mat. We took it up to the property and it definitely cooled off my feet when I put my feet on it.

Quality is decent, cooler than wooden floor but the color’s not like the one in the display image.
My first impression was “what a crap mat” because the color didn’t match what was in the description. And for that I am taking 1 star. It looks completely different than what is shown in the picture.But when I touched it, it was surprisingly cool. I waited for my kitten to sleep on it and she did and when she woke up it was cool again within few minutes to be used again. Quality wise I like it. I wish it was exactly like what I saw in the description images.Don’t expect it to be ice cold like those ice masks but it feels way cooler than a bedsheet or pets bed. It’s even cooler than wooden floor.

I live in an apartment and I have an indoor black cat. Sometimes I worry that she was getting too warm inside. I have bought other mats before and they did not work. She had no interest, but this one I would see her laying on it all the time.
