    They get the job done!
Great nail clippers! They are a great size for my medium-large breed dogs. They have a great grip and make it super easy to trim my dog’s nails. I find that they are safer than the other nail trimmers I’ve used from pet stores due to the comfort of the grip, size and ease of use! They get the job done well!

    Great, precise tool.
I kind of love this pair of clippers. It’s cut my large (80lb) dog’s nails like butter. It’s so sharp that I can slice off tiny shavings of about a millimeter. I think the sharpness makes it more comfortable for the dog, since a duller blade would feel like more pressure. I’ve trained my dog to love nail salon time. She jumps up on the table with enthusiasm. I trim her nails a little bit every few days. These are so sharp—please watch instructional videos before trying nail clipping on a dog the first time! The only thing I don’t like about this tool is that the straight locking piece often swings in the way while you are trying to make a cut and blocks you.I do not use the depth guard anymore, but it isn’t in the way. It does make it a little harder to see what you’re doing if you use the guard.I replaced my last one of this brand recently as it was getting a little dull and wasn’t cutting cleanly after about a year and a half. I’m in a salt air environment that eats metal though, and so your longevity may be better. It may be possible to get it sharpened rather than replacing the whole tool, but at this price I’m happy.

    The only great clippers!
The other styles of Miller’s clippers crush my dog’s nails. This one is SHARP! The only truly sharp clippers I’ve found out of multiple brands. The marketing about them lasting years is untrue. I have literally one dog and clip every two weeks. They only last six months. I still give them five stars because no other clipper brand/style is this sharp.

    Nice Sharp Cutter
These cutters work great except for two items. Normally this is a no go for me but the corrections are easy. A higher rating requires these fixes from the factory. Otherwise pet nail cutting is fast and clean. I recommend a final touch-up with a nail file to remove square edges.1. Handle covers will slip off.2. Protective Shield may move while cutting. To fix the handle issue, pull off the rubber handle cover and add a dab of silicon adhesive to the inside of each cover and reinstall. The protective cover should be pressed in a vice or large pliers to increase the friction between the cover and the cutter base.

    Easy for the Inexperienced
I have to leave an awesome review of this product, I never thought I could trim my dogs nails at home but my senior doesn’t walk as much as she used to and her nails have become long, I know it’s uncomfortable for her to walk. My neighbor who is a vet tech recommended this brand bc they use this particular kind at her office. I am amazed! They cut clean and quick through her thick nails. I did clip small layers at a time. She surprisingly sat pretty still the whole time. These are a life saver. Highly recommend for anyone questioning this buy. I can’t compare to others bc this is my first pair purchased, but these clippers are less expensive & less stressful than a groomer or vet visit. Hope this helps everyone.

Best dog clippers I’ve ever owned!
The handles can slip down. It did lock on me once during the nail clipping. I don’t like the little nail guard thing. It would have cut to the quick if I didn’t check his nails out and just relied on that only. However, these are a 5 for sharpness alone! You can cut as thin as paper with barely having to apply pressure! I use a flashlight to find the quick and cut a little at a time, then use a grinder to smooth out the nail. Before I just mostly used the grinder (my previous nail clippers were horrible, I could barely clip 1-3 nails, it didn’t want to cut through) and it would take me like 2 hours. This took me about 20ish minutes. In my opinion these are great nail clippers for a low price!

    Sharp and compact
Love these!!! Cuts right through my boxer mutts thick finicky nails with no fuss. It’s super easy to cut a large amount of nail or tiny slivers at a time. We’ve tried 4 other brands that struggled and became dull within a handful of uses.Easily held by my fairly small hands and fits right into my little travel kit. They’re very compact and simplistic, but get the job done. They open super wide so I was a bit worried about my hands cramping up, but the spring is light and easily compressed. Super comfortable to use and I’m able to get through all four of my dogs nails back to back. They’re sharp and holding up really well for personal use and business. Definitely plan on buying another pair when it’s time. Easily used on dogs as small as 15lb up to 75lb.

The best dog nail clippers ever!
I’ve always been nervous clipping my dogs nails and have paid up to $30 every week or two to have them done. My daughter recommended these to me and I can’t believe how easy they are to use and you don’t have to worry about cutting the quick. They’re Lightweight and easy to handle and sharpen enough you can take just shavings off. My dog barely seems to notice his nails are getting done. My only wish was that I had found these earlier.

  9. Idan

Great quality, very sharp so it does not split my dog’s nail. Super quet, it does not make that pop sound that a lot of other nail clippers make so my dog doesn’t even notice I am cutting his nails. The only thing you have to think about before purchase is that it is a pliar style so it does not open fully, which means if the nail is really close to the skin you may have a hard time fitting this between the nail and the skin, you might need something that opens up fully in that scenario.

Quality not good enough in a professional setting , I guess for home use good enough but not for me
