    Fun floater
Came yesterday! It’s a perfect size for out lab! She is able to chomp down, fits perfectly in her mouth. It’s lightweight and she can nudge it to push it further in the water. Its budget friendly, and she loves playing with it in and out of water!

Bit a safety hazard but overall great
This would be a 5 but the rope is looped. My dogs swim with these and their legs get caught in the loop. They should have a single rope or cut it in 2 pieces. I cut mine and then burned the ends. They are surprisingly tough. My dogs liked them right away

Seems Like a Fine Product After the Smell Wears Off
These are tough floating toys! There was a disconcerting chemical aroma coming from them when first unwrapped, but it dissipated completely within two days. The rubber portions appear to be of a material identical to that of a trusted toy, so my dogs have them now. My two dogs are hard on toys when playing together, doing their best to rip them apart in a tug-of-war, and one of them is a true shredder of things, but these toys appear unaffected by that rough play. I’d ordered them to use in the pool, and they are great for that as well. The only potential weakness I’ve found is where the rope is bound to itself, forming an “endless loop”. The two ends are simple stitched together with several loops of heavy thread repeatedly going through the same two holes, one in each end of the rope. That means that the rope is only as strong as the several layers of that thread. It may last, but I don’t know.I’d like to give these dog toys five stars but have deducted one-half star for the thread connection of the rope and one-and-a-half stars because of the initial odor. That odor has me concerned about the composition of the rubber, perhaps being unhealthy for the animals. I don’t know enough about rubber compounds to accurately evaluate this product’s safety in that regard, but think that I should rate it accordingly. That said, the dogs still play with them.

    Lord of the Rings APPROVED!
I recently ordered & received this floating dog toy by Mity rain. I opted for the blue ring since my dog has an affinity for rings (We like to call him “Lord of the Rings”, LOL) & he also enjoys swimming in neighborhood lake. So when I saw this floating ring I knew it would be a hit. And it is! We just recently got to test it out now that swimming weather is here & this ring is easy to carry (for both him & I), easy to throw, it definitely floats, & looks brand new after quite a few rounds of “fetch” in the lake. It seems as though it’s fairly durable, however, my pup isn’t an aggressive chewer (been there, done that, LOL) so your mileage may vary. The only critique I would give to the manufacturer is to consider changing the color to a brighter, easier to be seen in the water, color. We have had no issues locating it in the lake, but I can definitely see the potential for a dog or owner to miss it while it’s floating in a large body of water. For a pool, I don’t think this would be a concern. The price point is pretty standard for these types of toys, so I think it’s fairly priced (as of May 2025). “FIVE STARS” from me & the Lord of the Rings!!

One of my dogs who never wants to play with toys loves these
Most of my dogs aren’t toy motivated except for my Belgian Malinois who lives for having things thrown for her whether it’s a ball or frisbee or any item she can carry around. Surprisingly, she doesn’t care for these very much. There’s something about the texture or the taste in her mouth that she doesn’t like. Which is okay because one of my other dogs who never has interest in toys, loves these, and because my Malinois who is normally very protective and possessive of ALL the toys and doesn’t like to share, since she’s not interested in these, he gets to play with them. They are a strange type of squishy, foam texture that is resistant to bite damage so they seem like they should last quite a while, especially since my biggest chewer, my malinois, isn’t interested in them. They do float so that comes in handy if you’re using them for swim training and retrieving. Because they’re fairly lightweight you can’t throw them very far and they don’t really bounce like a ball would. I haven’t tried playing tug with them because my Malinois is theonly one who likes to play tug so I don’t know if they would stand up to heavy tugging or not, but as a chew toy and for playing nearby fetch, they work great. They would work well for a small dog with a small bite or a larger dog as well.

Nice quality but a bit expensive
Our dog likes this toy and he keeps playing with it a lot. But the toy holds up well after all the tugging. It also work well when we take it to the dog swim lake, especially the yellow one. The color makes it easier to see for our dog so it’s less likely to be lost in the lake.

Smaller than expected, not for big dogs or strong chewers
I hesitated giving these to my dogs for a few days after opening the package. They are foam and smaller than I expected so I anticipated that they would be destroyed quickly, especially if there were to be any tug-of-war between dogs. I like the concept of the disc and ring that float, the yellow and blue colors, and really like my Starmark foam flying discs so had expected to receive something similar in nature. When I finally handed them out, I was surprised that they lasted 15 mins before being tore apart LOL. Overall I don’t think they were a good value for the size and durability. If you have smaller dogs (or only one dog) your mileage may vary.

    Great dual use toys
I have some other dog toys with this material, and I really like it. They hold up well to their light chewing, but are softer to use and don’t cause damage to things in the house! I like that they have ropes attached as the dogs use them for tug-o-war, and also they make them a bit easier to grab for my pup. Plan on using these even more in the pool once it warms up! Great that they came in a two-pack!
