How did we get our start?

After we became neighbors we decided to combine our skills of art and business to create a brand of sweet and whimsical gifts.

What makes our products unique?

We only use original illustrations and we work hard to source ethical, recycled, reusable and sustainable materials for our products and packaging.

What problem are we solving?

Gift shopping can be tricky so we try to make sure we have a design for everyone whether you are into golf, cooking, unicorns, bears, hiking, reading, drinking, cats, puns and more, there is always a gift for people who have everything.

Hi, we are Claire & Nicole. We started

Moonlight Makers in our kitchens in

2015 when we were neighbors and our kids

loved to play together every day. We

started selling out of a cute bus and in

2017 we moved into our beautiful studio,

opened a store in Asheville, North Carolina

Who does not love scented candles!? We love nothing more than adding delicious, inviting ambience into a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or office. With a clean burn from its all-natural cotton wick, this hand-poured small batch candle tin smells so good and might just relax everyone around it.
This delicious scent: Walk In The Woods. Fresh herbaceous notes and soothing lavender are blended with warm cedar and fresh cypress in this woodland fantasy. Candle care: Make sure to trim the wick to 1/4″ before you light the candle to avoid soot & an oversized flame. 4 hours is the Max. recommended time for a lit candle. Make sure you don’t light it if there is less than 1/2″ of wax left. Burn the candle so the wax pool reaches the edge of the tin each time, if you don’t you might see wax tunneling. Do not ever leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of pets, kids, fans, open windows, dinosaurs, robot vacuums and strong gusts of wind.
Disclaimer: Each candle is hand poured and they may have some imperfections, such as: minor discoloration of the wax, slightly off-centered label, tiny markings on the outside of the tin, etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle. Also, because these candles are completely natural, they might not look smooth after they’ve been lit, this is normal, thank you!
