Actually worked… she wasn’t soaked!
So, I read a ton of the reviews, fit was horrible, didn’t keep pet dry, hood didn’t work… and I bought it anyway, 😊glad I did. Here’s what we found:1. FIT- almost perfect, in these pictures, I had the tail end cinched up, which I have since released and covers her bum well. She is a Lab/Collie, 60lbs in an XXL.2. WATERPROOF- We walked in light rain for 30min and was completely dry wherever covered… I was soaked.3. HOOD- Well of course it doesn’t fit like a human hood, but actually did help keep her neck and head pretty dry. Now this is a personal thing, as our dog hates anything strapped around her head, so the fact it just layed on top, was perfect for her.The Big bonus for us was the fact it kept her chest Totally dry, which is usually soaked from walking thru the grass. And, it is super cute in her… 3 neighbors have since ordered for their dogs.Hope it works for you.

Pros-This raincoat is so stinking cute! I got this one specifically because it zips up and offers some underside protection. I like that it has sleeves and that the inside has a soft lining.My shiba is about 24lbs and chest measures ~20in. The medium size fits him well even over his harness. It’s a little snug but not tight and doesn’t constrict his movements in any way. I had originally purchased a large but it was too baggy on him.Cons-The hood for me is basically useless. It has a weird triangular shape and is almost impossible to fit on my dogs head in a way that doesn’t block his eyes or just slide off. It is detachable though which is nice.The hole on the back for the harness/leash access is very small. Wish it was just a tiny bit larger, but could easily be fixed.

First, I jist have to say Ignore the fact that my moody little girl does not look happy. She does not like to wear clothing of any kind …I have a low rider (Corgi/Border Collie Mix) with a double coat. It takes ages to dry her when she gets wet. Not to mention how muddy her underbelly tends to getThis jacket has been amazing. Its well made, with great material. Even in the biggest Florida downpours her body has remained dry.It has been really difficult to find something that fits her long awkward body, but this jacket fits her beautifully.The zipper and buttons underneath are a great touch to keep her underside nice and dry, too.My only negative would be the hood is too big and doesn’t fit well, but I can honestly say we don’t miss it

My 8-lb rescue chihuahua fit the XS perfectly. I bought the S for comparison and she was swimming in it so it went back.Perfect cute little jacket. The legs are a bit long so I just roll them up and it’s fine.So many cute patterns… I highly recommend!

Like, not love
It’s cute, I like it, but I don’t love it. I have a 60lb labradoodle, she’s tall but thin with a deep poodle chest, she’s wearing an XL. It fits her good around the chest but it’s short. I would not say this is a lightweight jacket, it’s thicker than other raincoats I’ve tried with the lining which I like, bc it only rains when it’s cold here in Northern California.Pros:-the sleeves and chest zipper help keep it in place- it’s cute and well made. Nice fabric and the lining is soft.-the pocket is good for storing poo bags-the bungie cords would make adjusting it nice for a smaller dog.Cons:- it’s very short. Only goes about half way down my dogs back- the hood is too large it flops over her eyes when she sniffs around, it clips off but then her head is getting soaked.- it doesn’t have much give, getting her long legs into the narrow sleeves is kind of a painThe hunt continues, I’ll probably gift this one to a friend and find one that’s easier to get on and off and covers more of her back.

We couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s quiet possibly the cutest lil jacket, for that alone it deserves 5 stars. My little guy is 15lbs with a 16 inch chest and I got the size small which based on measurements should fit a 17-19 chest, so I’d say fits on the smaller side. It does need to stretch a bit in the armpit area as its a smidge snug when he walks which is typical for just about anything I get him. Sizing up further would be way too big.
