SAY NO TO CLAY, yes even Dr Elseys!
I have tried every type of litter known to man and this is the cheapest, safest, and most effective of them all.1. It is light so the 40lbs is like 120lbs of clay litter by mass which makes it roughly the same cost.2. The lightness of it makes it easy to scoop and it doesn’t turn into mud at the bottom of the box like clay. (Looking at YOU DR ELSEYS)3. It smells like walnuts, just an earthy smell that is actually really pleasant. Dust is minimal, and it’s just walnut dust so it’s not harmful in any way.4. Odor control is better than expected and I’d say equivalent to the best clay litters I’ve tried without any of the irritants.5. Tracking is bad. It’s the same as clay litter lol. The upside to it is that it’s walnut and not dirty gross clay. It’s easy to see and easy to sweep up but yeah, no tracking is pretty much a myth.6. Do my cats like it? Yep! They took to it immediately and none of them have had issues. It’s a very fine litter so it’s not uncomfortable on their paws.7. Earth friendly! Clay litter at its origin and at its end is terrible for the ecosystem and your cats health. Walnut is fully flushable and biodegradable and non toxic. No matter what litter you end up using, don’t use clay anymore!!

Cats love it, we do too!
Cats love it, we do too! No more dusty, chalk mess when kitty uses the box and when we need to clean it. Easily cleaned up, masks odors well. Lasts a long time. Will purchase again as needed.

    Cats like it
I like that it’s not clay and it’s natural. Does have some dust. But every cat litter has at leadtsome dust. Love the woodsy smell. Clumps well. 1 bag lasts me 7 weeks for 2 cats. It does track. So I keep Sisal rugs in front of the litter boxes.

    Great Litter!
I’ve recently decided to go non toxic in my home and one of the first things I swapped out was my cat’s litter and litter box.The smell of this litter is rather strange, but I can only smell the litter itself when I’m cleaning it.My cat was curious about her new litter and litter box, but used it without any problem. Her litter box is in my bedroom (not ideal I know, but she’s very skittish and does not trust anyone in the house except for me), therefore I HAVE to have a good litter that masks odors. Trust me, I have been woken up by the stench from the litter box before. However, with this litter, I do not smell anything when she uses it. And come on $33 for 40 POUNDS of it?? You cannot beat that.Yes, it does track a good bit, but so does every other litter that I’ve ever tried, including “low track” ones. The litter also clumps and scoops up really well. So with that being said, this litter is 100% worth it, and I will be recommending it to all of my cat loving friends.AND it’s non toxic?? WIN!

Still new to using non clay stuff.
Still working on finding perfect product. We have been having cat sinus issues, guessing from clay litter so I tried both this and the corn world’s best. The corn one sux, stinks and doesn’t clump even when mixed with scoop away. This walnut one mixed with scoop away worked awesome while I was getting the cats switched over. Now that I have only the walnut in the boxes, the cats pee does go through to the bottom if they dug down before going. It doesn’t stick like clay but still can be annoying to scrape it off the box. When they just pee on top there is no issue. We have 7 cats so if another cat goes before the previous ones dried, they can break apart the previous ones clump which is again annoying because it’s brown, hard to see smaller clumps. There is still dust but non toxic dust unless you or cat has a nut allergy (walnut). 40 lbs of this is close to two 42 lb cases of scoop away. I’m going to try some grass seed litter to mix with this, it supposedly is dust free and clumps instantly. So I’m hoping it will just make this walnut that much better because I do want to keep using this for a while. It does track also but it’s just what sticks to cats hair, as in it isn’t soiled litter that gets everywhere it’s just walnut, looks like dirt, you’ll live. Hope this helps and I’ll update after I had more time to try some things.Update: The fine dust from this walnut triggered the one cats sinus infection so I got her some Smart Cat All Natural 100% Grass. Her sneezing has almost already gone away in a short time. It’s dust free and clumps instantly, covers pee smell, but somehow makes poo smell worse as you scoop it and tracks everywhere. Anyhow she’s getting that litter for a while. It’ll save me in vet bills. Since I like how that grass one clumps, I mixed it into the walnut boxes for the rest of the cats and it actually worked as I hoped. Now I have hard clumping walnut with less dust and mixed together they work together to block the smells. I scoop twice a day anyhow so don’t ever have smell except when they poo but this walnut with grass combo has helped. You can also just add a little walnut to the grass litter to help with smell. Either way I’m happier to sweep more often to have less dust and sick kitties. The clay dust was just too much.

Review of the natural cat litter made from nuts for nuts
Purchase this cat litter I have two cats and I have bought the litter from the store and they hate it and I believe it’s because most the stuff at the store is heavily scented and truthfully who wants to take a poo and a box of potpourri when we adopted the kittens this stuff was gave to us to you so we used it and the cats seem to like it so when we changed and then the cat stopped using the litter box with the Walmart stuff we went back to this we found on Amazon it does very well it is a little bit expensive compared to just basic letter but it doesn’t have a lot of odor that some people don’t understand that some of the smells from the store-bought stuff is actually bad for your cat’s Health you have to remember they can smell better we can so if it’s overly strong on potpourri smell it is really over strong for them so it works also very well with hearing and feces it clumps very well it doesn’t have weird older it smells natural and it works like it’s supposed to

Best cat litter I’ve ever used for my cats.
This is the best cat litter for my cats. Doesn’t smell and doesn’t track all over the place. It clumps well so scooping the potty mess isn’t bad at all. I love that it’s safe for my cats and the environment. And the price point makes it even better!

Our local store stopped carrying this so we had switched to a corn based litter, huge mistake, we started noticing the corn all over the house and then our house started smelling like cat urine…so we decided it would be worth whatever it costs to get back to his walnut based litter…I don’t think we’ll ever switch away from this one again. As long as we can buy it, we will.

It’s crushed walnut shells for your animals to use as a bathroom…. Nothing fancy, but it works really well at controlling smells to.
