Cat loves it
This scratcher is easy to put together and my cat loves it! She prefers horizontal scratching (over vertical) and loves to lounge on top of things (what cat doesn’t), so this scratcher is perfect for her. She’s a larger cat and this gives her plenty of room to stretch out both while scratching and when resting afterwards. The curved ends make nice headrests and the back piece makes it look more like furniture than just a simple scratcher. 5/5 stars and cat approved.

Easy to assemble
This cat scratcher/lounge bed was easy to put together in a matter of minutes with all hardware (plastic screws) included. It is a little over 23″ long and fit our small cat. It is made of cardboard, and will last a couple months given our cat’s scratching tendencies. There was a mild odor right out of the packaging that went away in a few days. Overall a nice product for cats that like horizontal scratch mats.

Great scratch pad but no refills
My cat loves sleeping on his scratch pads, so ordering this was a no-brainer. Needless to say, he loves it! My kid assembled it in about 5 minutes with no trouble. As much as the feline loves it, this human doesn’t like the fact that this is a temporary structure. In our house, scratch pads last 4-6 weeks, and without the option for refills, this lounger becomes a one-time use item. At the time of this review, the product is $25 – that a lot to pay for something that will last under 2 months. If this product had refills, I’d happily give it 5 stars.

Simple construction
This is a nice shape for a scratch pad, long enough for my cat to lay on. The back board is reinforced cardboard. Somewhat flimsy as the plastic screws just screw into the corrugated block, you can’t tighten them too much or it will strip the hole and not have a grip. Just tighten them enough to not fall out easy. The two boards are held together by the cardboard back and a front strip that are screwed into the sides. It stays together well enough for the cats to scratch and lay on, but if it got picked up and tossed around it would come apart.

Fun for kitties
Easy to put together and the kitties love it, especially after sprinkling a little nip on it for everyone to enjoy. I think the one thing that would make this even better for the cats would be the ability to refill it but then it wouldn’t be as big. It’s all biodegradable so no issues when they finally do shred it to pieces.

Personally, I rarely notice my cats using the standing/vertical portions of the scratch pads I get them. They do like to scratch at sisal posts, but i don’t see it really happen for these scratchers that lay on the floor. Anyways, I say this because I don’t think I’m really missing out on much my choosing this design over the standard L-shaped designs. My cats love scratching down, and they immediately took to this scratcher.Putting it together was very simple, a bit easier than the other designs as there are less prves required. Its a little finicky to line up, but totally doable by one person and was pretty quick to do, about 10-15mins. Expect your cars to interrupt you though lol.In terms of build quality, it’s nothing special. The cardboard quality is pretty standard, and the backplate is made of a type of printed cardboard.Just note that while cardboard scratchers areoved by cats, they don’t last too long! Expect to need to replace it within a yearOverall the pricing here is pretty competitive and I quite like this design, so no complaints frommm me!

If you have cats that like scratching pads, which I’m pretty sure 99% do, then these are a great way to allow them to scratch without wrecking your home furniture or sofas, and have somewhere comfy to lay to boot.First impressions are good, the lounger comes in 3 pieces, the two base panels and the back, so there is some assembly required, however this is very straightforward. When I put mine together, it took around 5 minutes. You simply have to line up the parts with the ready-made holes in the side, and screw them together using the provided screwdriver.Once fixed together, it looks smart! Dimension wise it’s 60cm x 30cm and so can fit even well proportioned cats with relative ease. Build quality is very good, and the cardboard itself is very high density, so it will last quite a while even with daily usage.That said, this is of course disposable, and once it’s used up it’s time to buy a new one. Based on previous scratch pads I’ve owned, I would expect this to last a year or so, unless the cats play with it very aggressively, but they are generally quite durable.Performance wise my cats do seem to enjoy using it, and it says pretty firmly on the ground and doesn’t tip over or slide around, given they are standing on top of it.Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this, it looks stylish, easy to put together and should be durable. With the current price of £25, I think this is pretty fair value, if it lasts 12 months, and the value add that the cats will be less inclined to use your furniture for their claw activities makes this a good purchase in my book.
