XL size is best, Oak color is not oak- it’s yellow!
My cats favorite cat scratcher! She immediately went to it. We got the XL size, and she loves to sit and lay in it. I swear I saw her smile when I first gave it to her. Only downside is the “oak color” in the Amazon description looks more neutral, and in person it is definitely a different color. In person it is more yellow. Wish I would have bought a different color now, because the yellow doesn’t match our aesthetic. Overall my cat loves this so I gave it 5-stars. Plus I like that you can change the bottoms out.

Shaped Nice; Works Well
My cat really likes this cat scratch bed. It took her a couple of days to get used to it since we replaced her old scratch box with this one. I wanted something that was a bit nicer looking since this sits in our living room where everyone sees it when they come into our house. That being said, it is a bit hard for our cat to scratch on this bed since she wants to scratch the edge which is wood and not cardboard. Therefore, she has scratched the wood quite a bit since she always tries to scratch the edge of the bed. Even so, this doesn’t really bother me. Overall look is really nice and adds a bit more sophistication to our living room instead of just a basic cardboard box to scratch on. The bed is quite large and our cat loves sleeping in it now that she’s used to it. Great product.

My cat is 9 lbs and fits well in the smallest size. I think she might lose the cozy factor if we went up in size, but if I got a second for another room I might get the bigger one to have options. She loves horizontal scratchers, so cozy bowl plus scratcher makes this thing perfect for her.

I ordered the XL size in Dark Cherry. FYI, the XL is massive. I would have probably been fine with the regular size for my cats. I was hesitant to spend so much on cardboard, but this thing is excellent quality and I love that you can easily switch out the bowls. My two voids immediately started fighting over it 😂 I will probably need to buy another one now. Highly recommend!

Of all the things I buy my cats, this is their favorite
My cats just love these bowls. All day while I’m at my desk, one of my cats is curled up beside me. They don’t really use the cardboard for scratching, they just love the comfort of the shape and material. Buying cats toys and beds always feels like a gamble. I’m really happy with this buy!

I love this design! Our cats previously only had a circular scratcher, but now they can lounge together, almost like they have bunk beds. It was very easy to install. They have been using it daily for the past six months, and it remains very sturdy. I can’t imagine needing to replace it anytime soon.

Cats Love It
My cats love this bowl. They don’t use it for scratching, but curl up in it to sleep. I bought it for exactly that reason and am happy they really like it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was expensive for being all cardboard. It does seem sturdy, however, and still looks new after a couple weeks of use. I got the regular size and my 12 pound void fits in it nicely.

My Ragdoll cat loves it. It just took time.
First off, the double Necoichi bowl does not come in extra large. My cats are15 pounds each and my Ragdoll. Is a long cat. The reviews on the single bowl have been fantastic and it seems most cats love it. I bought the new double bowl thinking both cats wouldn’t have to fight over it. Neither one has tried to even set a foot on it. I have put it in different locations, next to windows, next to furniture. They will not try it out. I thought of picking the cats up and setting them on it, but my experience is doing this doesn’t work, even with beds. They hop right out. I am very disappointed because this was a fairly expensive purchase and it sits in a corner next to our bedroom window as an unused piece of cat furniture. My suggestion for these cat bed companies is to consider larger cats and offer larger pieces of furniture and bedding. It was difficult rating this because they haven’t tried it out. I will say it was easily assembled and seems prey sturdy. Waste of money for me.I am writing an update to give the Necoichi bowl 4 stars After discovering that Simon would go in the bottom level after I added some dry catnip flakes. He has slept in I three times now but prefers sleeping on the floor next to it. My main concern is that it is not large enough for large breed cats like Ragdolls and Maine Coons. He does not like the top level.Well, give a cat time to make up his mind. Simon now curls up on the bottom most of the time and has figured out how to get to the top level. When it sits on carpet it is very wobbly as he tries to get on it. I have my recliner chair to stabilize it between the wall and the chair. He jumps up on my chair and walks right over to the top level. This is his favorite place to sleep. My other cat won’t have anything to do with it.
