I have a couple of cats, one sheds tremendously so brushing is always a chore when the hair starts flying. This brush, with the steam mist helped control the flying hair somewhat. There was still some flyaway hair, but my cat really enjoyed being brushed with this device.

Great for long haired cats and kittens
Our long haired beauty loves this brush. We have tried a few recently and she has hated them all except this one. This has silicone bristles which I think is the difference. She’s a kitten so the other brushes with wire bristles are probably harsh on her. She does have a thick multi layered coat and this has been great. It gets all the extra fur off and she doesn’t mind the steam at all (which I was honestly a little worried about). It’s easy to clean and doesn’t require much water but creates plenty of cold steam. We use it daily and haven’t had any issues.
