Doberman loves it!
Our Doberman rips every blanket and toy to shreds, but surprisingly he has not destroyed this toy! He loves squeaking it and playing with it. Even though it is soft fleece, he has not torn it apart. Great dog toy for him!

These Nerf balls are getting harder to find. I’m not sure if Nerf stopped making them or not?? My dog is obsessed with these (German Shepherd). He will play and squeek the ball all day long if allowed. They do get full of his spit, but after it’s nasty I throw it in the washer and it comes out clean. The squeeker doesn’t get damaged from washing it like I’ve experience with some other brands. Overall, if you can find these and you dog is ball obsessed, get them!

My dog loves these balls. They are squishy and great for play in the yard. But, they are not particularly durable. Still buying them though, cause he loves them. We stuff the insides back in till we can’t anymore!

We had another Nerf dog ball that our dog loved and lasted several months. I bought two of these “squeak and crunch” balls – one for my dog and one for my neighbors dog. First of all, neither ball made a crunch sound and it took human effort to make them squeak. Aside from not living up to its marketing pitch, neither one of these balls lasted either dog more than 10 minutes before the bulging seams were ripped by each dog. What a waste and embarrassing gift to give to a neighbor. They were nice bright colors and the fleece was soft – that is the only positive I could muster up before throwing ours away.

The balls are nice, but not for a determined chewer. My 25# cattle dog puppy loved it, and promptly tore it open. If you have a dog who is gentle with their toys, this would be a good choice.

Not durable for our dog
Okay so I just got this in the mail today! My dogs a drooler so it’s soaking wet lol sorry. Within minutes my dog had it pulled apart. Because of how amazing the nerf balls and footballs are I had good hope for this ball. It says all over the description, “tear-resistant” “super strong” “stands up to dogs teeth” “stands up to plenty of chewing” “sturdy” “durable”.. plus it says it’s 100% nontoxic which if you look at the pictures you can see it’s full of plastic inside that’s what makes the crunch sound. I thought maybe nerf had some awesome fabric that was stronger than others based on the awesome description. The nerf balls/footballs are so hard I wanted something soft for around the inside of the house. I think it would be a good dog toy for a small non aggressive chewing breed or toss and don’t let your dog wonder off with it. My one dog that this was for is greedy when he first gets a toy he runs off with it just to make sure no one takes it away lol. It says it’s great for “solo sessions” also. But I had to take it because the stuff that makes it crunch is like plastic that seemed to be dangerous (Definitely not 100% nontoxic) if swallowed along with the squeaker which I’m glad he didn’t get. I hope he didn’t get any of the plastic. He will eat any part of a toy if it means no one else gets it so it’s important for me to find toys he can’t swallow parts of. My dog is a BIG 100lb 1yr Bulldog, mastiff, Great Dane mix because I know his PSI is a lot stronger than the average dog I gave it 2 stars. I’m sure it has potential for someone just not us! Sad that it was an instant waste of money but the nerf rubber balls and footballs are great and have lasted us months besides the squeaker stopping.

We love this ball! Previous balls were either punctured by sharp puppy teeth or were too small to be interesting. This ball is perfect. Sometimes she even brings it back to us! Lol.

We ordered this Nerf ball for our 18lb cockapoo doo who is ball crazy but tired of playing indoors during the winter time.Our dog already has several Chuck It balls both small and large but we wanted to give her something new to help stimulate her over the winter.This Nerf Trackshot Ball is good and entertaining however it is poorly made and not built to last at all.The 4.5″ size is perfect for our dog and even for larger dogs. This ball can be used indoors or out however I think the fabric portions of the ball would get soiled quickly if using it outdoors. The outside shell of the ball has 6 panels. 3 are a fuzzy fabric and the other 3 panels are a smooth vinyl. The ball is semi soft and is filled with foam and a crinkly material inside that makes a crunching sound. The panels are stitched together to make the seams of the ball and that is where the first weakness is. Our dog is a moderate chewer and it’s less than a month and already the seams on the ball are starting to separate. I think we’ll get another month out of the ball if we are lucky before the seams come apart.In contrast to this Nerf ball we have a Fuzzy ChuckIt Ball that is similar in size and costs less. (see ASIN : B004T5X0N6). The Chuckit ball is 2 years old and still holding up well. It will outlast the Nerf ball for sure and costs less.Overall I’m disappointed with the quality of this Nerf ball for dogs. Generally Nerf stuff is pretty good but this ones poorly made. I was going to send it back but our dog likes it and needs some play variety over the winter so I kept it. Once the seams come apart, I will throw it away and would not order another one.Good ball but needs to be better built. If you’re dog is larger or an aggressive chewer this Nerf ball will not last very long.

Unfortunately our Border Collie managed to split the seam within about 2 hours have play time. Hopefully after we remove the squeaker (easily accessible now, as that’s where the split occurred) and sew it back up, it will last longer. She’s not even one to destroy her toys, so I’m very disappointed that this occurred the first day we got it.
