fantastic pet stairs
I love that these stairs nest into one another so that you can store them out of the way when not in use. I share custody of my pups with my ex, so when they are not with me, this is low profile and stores out of the way.I also like how sturdy they are. Lots of pet stairs are foam and don’t really hold up well. These are sturdy, they’ll last a long time and remain looking great.The felt stickers on the top of each step are a nice texture, good neutral color, and provide traction.The bottom step does come out of alignment from time to time, but is easy enough to slot back in.The only other ‘complaint’ is that I wish they came in a walnut finish. Maybe I’ll try to stain them…

Shoddy construction
Shipping box and interior box in perfect condition, just the steps themselves were damaged. Several loose screws (one inside the slider mechanism making it impossible to remove) scratches and gouges in the wood in several locations, and they only included 6 feet, where 12 are required for stability. Tried setting it by the bed to see whether we could make it work, but once the steps are fully extended and locked in place, the bottom two steps feel very stable, but the top one does not. It wiggles a little, side to side, which won’t work for our geriatric westie.

Stable stairs but I wish they were wider and locked in place better. Trying to get my dog (89 pounds)to use them but He is resisting for some reason.

Perfect for small spaces with multiple uses
Got it for our RV so our beautiful dog could cuddle on the bed. It is also great as seat while doing my hair and makeup. We have also used it as a stool.The expansion stair with locking ensure secure safe stairs for our large dog.

Nice quality steps. Easy to use, easy to clean, sturdy enough for bigger pets
These are great steps for my dog to use to get on the bed.I previously had some that were made of a cheaper material, and over time my bigger dogs ruined them, even though they can jump on the bed.I opted for this set because it is made of wood and locks the steps into position. They are very sturdy! The carpet pieces come unattached which is nice if you’d rather use some non-slip treads instead. I may eventually remove the carpet since it tends to get dirty easily in my house.The only thing one of my dogs is hesitant of is the space between the stair trends. She doesn’t like them not being solid, so I have a small bathroom rug that I have draped over them to over the openings. Works like a charm and I can toss that bath rug in the washer.Very pleased with these. Would 100% order them again.

Dissapointment
Update 1/23/24. Replacement item in worse condition than original item. Will give everyone the benefit of the doubt once. Don’t waste your time or money here. Pics posted of 2nd item received.Update 1/18:! Seller reached out right away with a resolution to replace initial item purchased. I have not received it yet but kudos to this seller for making sure they stand behind the product. Will update again when item received. This will be an excellent item if it works properly.Bottom step Was locked up on arrival even tho locking mechanism was released. Finally jarred it lose and pieces starting falling off bottom railings. Locking mechanisms failing on bottom Left step. Railing falls off bottom step, Good concept, nice wood but cheaply made and not worth almost $100. Safety hazard actually. Would not order this again or recommend. Highly disappointed for price. Seller should send new one un proper condition.
