Purchased this for my large cat who never learned to wipe her paws, this small but mighty mat has prevented tracking as advertised and catches litter very well. The material is rubbery which is convenient for cleaning, and will dry fast. Easy to run a vacuum over as well which is impressive. The mat is thin and easy to roll up. The bottom had a type of anti-slip coating that has worked amazingly so far.The caught litter can sometimes get stuck, which can be inconvenient if you don’t have time to pick out of the little grooves. Otherwise excellent!

Our cats can’t use the litter box like civilized cats, instead they like to fling litter everywhere, these mats helped a ton keeping it off the floor and easier to clean. Durable rubber material so it shouldn’t rip or tear, at least not easily.

My cats peed on the mat instead of the litter box!
UPDATE: i did return the mat for a different type. My cats both continued to try and pee on it. Even under the litterbox but enough overage of the mat left where they had room to pee.No idea why but I laid out the XL mat to let the folding wrinkles settle down. The mat was about 6 feet away from the litter box but one or both of my cats peed on the mat (more than once or both) in the middle of the night. Not sure why that would be? Easily cleaned off, however now I’ll attempt under the litter box and see what happens. Can’t help but think the mat had been possibly used before and had a scent going on? Was packaged very nicely so it doesn’t appear to be used. Will update: also this one is HUGE. I should have gotten a smaller size. I could fit four litter boxes onto this mat.

First, this is a good thick mat and it does a pretty good job of catching the litter.
