Great Product – No Crinkle (Can’t Confirm the Self-Heating Feature)
Pretty Girl, the outdoor stray cat we have been feeding since June, immediately started kneading this self-warming pad once I put it in her wooden cat house that my husband built her. I ordered thesmall size, but it was adequate. It’s not very thick, yet offers comfort. The noise level was perfect – no crinkle. There was no chemical smell. Regarding the self-heating function, I tested it by holding it against my hands & it seemed to warm up. Once Pretty Girl started kneading & laying on it, she didn’t want to move so I can’t tell if it heated up. I just know she seems to love it. We use the self-heating pad on top of a Snuggledisc from Amazon, plus heated rice bags. It helped keep Pretty Girl in 15-20 degree weather. It was an awesome purchase!

Trash Cat likes it. Our local stray who we have fed through the last winter now has a little Trash Cat wooden sided house from Amazon with a roof and 4 walls with a blanket plus this cat mat inside so she won’t freeze in the wind. Unfortunately, the opossums like it too. They are little Goldilocks criminals sleeping in Trash Cat’s bed when she is out on the town. This cat is grizzled and tattered veteran, regularly fighting for late-night trash can dominance. She projects a soul-burning green-eyed viper stare and sports half an ear. I wager swift retribution is coming for any and all trespassing marsupials, and this sweet warming cat mat is the prize. There can be only one.

Not thick at all
Was disappointed that it wasn’t as thick as shown. It’s not a cushion, more like a blanket. Not sure if it’s self heating or any warmer than a blanket. There is an inner lining that can be removed, the cover washed up beautifully. It’s soft and seems durable.

I bought the 45 inch by 27 inch for my 2 small dogs in the garage. It gets down to about 50 when it’s cold outside in the garage so I wanted them to have this heated bed. I don’t feel like it’s very thick. So you want to put it on top of another bed if possible. I have this on top of a crib mattress. but it seems to do the truck and keeping them warm. My cat here in the picture was choosing to sleep in the cooler garage on the self heated bed.

I bought this hoping my little guy would like it. It’s not what is shown in pics. The pics in posting definitely isn’t the item you receive. It is very thin and cheaply made. I am going to return this for sure. Waste of money.
