Exactly what I needed!
I had been looking all over for cat litter that was effective, plant based and also came in a small enough package for me to lift and distribute for my cat box. This product met all of my criteria 3 BIG CHEERS!

Tracking
I wouldn’t say it doesn’t track or have 0 tracking but it definitely tracks less compared to clay litter. I switched to this brand since my automatic litter box struggles with my tofu litter.

Does not work in Litter Robot 4
This product says that it works in MOST automated litter boxes. Apparently an exceptiom is one of the most popular automated litter boxes on the market: Litter Robot. I have a Litter Robot 4, and this litter does not go through the grating well enough, dumping almost everything into the waste bin from the get-go. I unfortunately wasted my money thinking it might work. Please save your money and time and do not make the same mistake I did buying this product for you Litter Robot.

wow – zero dust – and let me tell you about litter dust- it can cost you big time-
I recently had to have an inspection because of having too much books stacked in my apartment unit. They were inside a bookcases but those cases were to tall and breaking code by how close they were to the ceiling. I fixed the problem and then prepared for second inspection a month later. That second inspection just passed, but again i was told to fix a few things, with one in particular. This involves my female cat Moon Biscuit The 2nd. Being that she was undergoing her monthly issue that sends her in a frenzy for a few days i had her in the back room during the first parts of the inspection. This room was also the litterbox room. That cat was saved from being an outdoor animal hanging around a dumpster. The only lingering problem with that was, although she was only a few week old when i found her, digging in the dirt as a litterbox was already ingrained in her brain. Now about seven years later, she still kicks the litter halfway across the room when using the box. I was hoping by the time the inspectors were at that back room, litter would not be everywhere. I was wrong and also received a writeup for that. How this connects with this review of this wonderful tofu based natural cat litter from the O.R.I brand, is what compounded my problem. This was all of the dust from the regular litter i was using before this. The dust of traditional litter, which i think has a clay base to it, will go from being a dust to reforming into a solid mass. I have a wood floor in that room, and although this dusting issue happens in just one corner, it can be overwhelming if not processed on first sight. Those inspectors saw what at first sight looked like a whole section of the floor covered in a small amount of kicked litter from the cat, but also a mass of chalky dust that made it super hard to differentiate between what was fresh, versus what could have been worked into the wood over a long period of time. With that dusty litter, all kinds of problems can happen. I just mentioned a more intricate problem, but i also was struggling with dust in general, because that back room is also my home workout room. Having litter dust become worked up, then into the air while you are on the treadmill is not fun. This Tofu litter seems like it is legitimately the future of cat litter. It is dust free yet handles the cat deposits in a clean and efficient way. I love everything about this litter and also noticed that due to the super softness of the the bags, can be vacuumed sealed and come that way. This then gives them storage potential that saves room. These bags come tightly vacuum sealed and therefore have a pillow-like feel, like a cushion or piece of foam. I feel comfortable storing these bags in a cabinet; rather than having them placed in the cat room only to take up that much more space. To conclude, i am very happy with this litter and recommend it as a complete replacement for the old style.

Meh
I like the idea, execution needs some help. It works as far as having the cat use it. It doesn’t do a great job with smells, it doesn’t do a great job covering feces, it turns puddles into mush. Not the easiest to scoop manually or with a robot. It’s not dust free, just a different kind of dust. It is very lightweight, but that’s not as great as you imagine. It clings to fur and ends up all over. It’s pricey.

Slow clumping, very tracking
I love the idea of a more environmentally friendly litter, but this doesn’t do the job with the LR4. After “clumping” it stays very sticky and it doesn’t fall off the walls when the LR starts spinning. Its odor-controlling ability is also sub-par. On the other hand it tracks so well that we have found bits and pieces even on a different floor than where the litter robot is. Sadly, no go for us.

Dust Free and Unscented…Cat Butt Approved
We only have one feline and he’s a reformed barn cat living his best life.I swore I’d never get a cat because I *despise* litter boxes. The dust, the smell, all of it. But alas, here we are with a cat and thus I have a litter box for his stinky adorable butt.Things you need to know:– This litter says it’s for automatic boxes, but I got it for a regular one because I’m desperate for a dustless litter. Works fine in a manual box.– It’s truly dustless! Love that!- Unscented means no weird fragrance when your cat drops his butt nuggets.- The pellets are just slightly larger than the ones from the local big box store. Which means it’s great for clumping both #1 and #2.- If you love your cat but hate the litter box, this is a great option.Note: It’s a tad expensive, but no dust!!

Clumps Better but Tracks More than Non-Granular Tofu
I don’t like the strong smell of this litter but it clumps quickly and does not cement onto plastic surfaces, making it great to use with the Scoopfree litterbox by Pet Safe. You will need two bags to fill the Scoopfree reusable tray. My two cats like this litter’s odor control and are not bothered if a bunch of stuff accumulates in the waste compartment as long as the exposed litter is free of clumps. I can get away with cleaning only once a day but my robot vacuum unfortunately has to make rounds twice a day to keep the floor mostly litter free.
