Bowl that doesn’t fit well into the stand
I was anxious to try one of these elevated bowls for my cats, because they’re older and I was hoping it would help with some digestion issues. This pink bowl looked cute and with a heart shape, was purrfect for my cat Baby Girl.Pros: a perfect height and a nice deep bowl (for those kitties that lick food over the edge).Cons: the bowl doesn’t fit well into the groove of the stand and comes out if there is much movement of the bowl or stand; the bowl doesn’t seem to be a good quality stainless steel (feels like an aluminum can).I do notice that Baby Girl will eat more food (at once) with this elevated bowl, rather than just nibbling a bit and walking away (and then returning later for more).

Cute cat dish
My favorite thing about this cat dish is that it is in the shape of a heart. I love that because when I feed my cats, I feed them with love (and food of course). I also love that the stainless steel portion of the bowl is removable, so it is very easy to wash. My stainless steel portion of the bowl fits perfectly into the bottom plastic dish, but you do need to be aware of how you seat the bowl into the plastic. If you don’t make sure to get it in there correctly, it will move. I have several cats and they all prefer higher bowls to shorter bowels. I like that this bowl is wide as well, to prevent whisker fatigue. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be wide enough when I took it out of the package, but after washing it and putting it together on the base it’s perfect. This bowl is 100 % kitty approved!

Cute & Practical
I like this bowl for a couple of reasons. I think the shape is cute and also functional. I like that it is raised and that the bowl is made of food-grade stainless steel. The bowl fits perfectly on top of the stand so no sliding and the stand is open inside. I am really excited about that as I plan to put an ice pack inside to keep my cat’s wet food fresh longer (she’s older and likes to do several passes before finishing). It’s worth noting that because the bowl fits on the stand the edge is not folded under or rounded like a lot of bowls. It’s not unfinished or sharp or anything but it surprised me at first so just a heads up. Also worth noting this is definitely more of a bowl. It’s angled and it is more shallow at the bottom vs the top but it’s definitely more of a small bowl. I actually wish it came with a dish option so you could swap one out for the other; a cover would be great too. (I have included some pictures with a permanent marker for scale.) Overall, I am quite happy with this raised bowel!
